Notebook: Vick heading to Seattle?
Flight replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
idk what to think about Vick. He was my favorite player before all of this happened, now I hate him as a person but the way he plays is appealing to me, I'm a sucker for mobile QBs. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9nLxX-NLuA This song is sick, sounds so much better than "I'm in Miami [expletive]" but it's still LMFAO. I'm feelin this.

I'm getting a laptop in about a week, it has Vista but I'm installing 7 so it works lol. I'll check out some of these themes though. <3

My nips just got hard.

I'm liking this, plus Man on the Moon is the best song ever.

I see him getting traded and becoming a very good player.

Report: Memphis Chose Z-Bo Over Boozer
Flight replied to The Goods's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
I highly doubt that, I see the mentality of that move, but if nothing else he's valuable trade bait. Considering what Memphis gave up, I don't see how they could have gotten Boozhound. -
Vikings for anything competitive, if it's offline franchise I'll take the Lions.

I honestly would like to see the Vickings only for the purpose of having the best mobile QB dual-threats in Madden. We don't need his crap, and we surely have a QB that's very similar already. Let Tarv play through the growing pains, and if all goes poorly Sage can screw us over.

All of them. Not really, but I think Blatche, McGee, and Critt need a little more time to fully reach what they will be. Nick and Randy however, I think they might get there this year, or at least closer than the others. I don't know much about Dominic so I won't comment, but in the one or two games I've seen him he looks pretty raw. I'll go with Randy, but Nick and him will have almost mirrored statlines I think, but Randy will get more playing time and be a leader.

I said T-Will will be the better player, but career-wise. This season I guess I'll say Yi, I'd like to think it's Sean but idk if he has any offensive game yet. Terrence will eventually average his college stats in the league, making him the same dual (idk the word for 5-tool) threat. He scores, passes, rebounds, steals, and blocks. He'll never have a quintuple-double, but he might get close to a quadruple double at some point, given that he has the defensive mind and quickness to pick off a bunch of passes. If Sean ever develops an offensive game, he'll be a very good player, but until then he's just a freak athlete that blocks shots and rebounds, with a few dunks in there. I said Courtney will have the better year, but I'm just too lazy to edit my vote. Brook will have a 16-12 campaign I think, while Courtney might chip in with another 16 points, but only a few rebounds and maybe 3 or 4 assists. His defense will be very valuable, but Brook has the better year in my mind, while both contribute. I think NJ actually has a shot at the 8 seed, even though I've heard people say this team will finish as low as last in the league. I think 38-40 wins isn't too impossible, if everyone contributes.

If you take away the stats and look at what each player does on the court, I'm more impressed by Wade because he doesn't score 75% of his points at the rim. I'm not saying that's bad or anything, and it's more effective to go tot he rim, but the fact that he can even be in this discussion by playing in a PG's body is ridiculous. I think Wade is easily more skilled than LeBron, and like Guru basically said, if he were in LeBron's body he'd be the better player. For that reason, I'll say he is the better player, because he does just as great of things in a facilitator's role. It's a really tough argument obviously, but I said Wade is the better player, LeBron will have the better career. (As in, he'll be remembered as one of the GOATs after he wins a few titles, where Wade will just be remembered as one of the 50 greatest players but not anything more than someone like John Stockton or Scottie Pippen. Very respectable, but not in the same discussion.)

I'm not worried about losing him, he was a good prospect but with the other stud pitchers we have (and the questionable infield) it was worth it, assuming he plays like he can. Giants/Mariners now have both of the Pirates infielders on the block, and both are improvements for us. Alderson might be a stud, might now. Either way, we needed to improve our offense.

Larry Brown Wants Tyson Chandler to Play Power Forward
Flight replied to The Goods's topic in Charlotte Hornets Team Forum
No, apparently he's starting and Tyson is the backup according to that, WTF. Okay, so you trade a potential future all star for a backup PF. You had a guy that's 6'10" (I think) playing center, but then you get a 7'1" (I think) guy and put him at PF, as a backup for the franchise player you traded away? Worst trade in a long time Larry, what were you thinking. Who's gonna play center, Ajinca or Nazr? WHAT? -
Just like I said, Gortat can ask for the starting PG spot for all it matters, it's set in stone. Bass is starting.
-
idk of any that size because I'm a cheapo, but I got one about 3 months ago that was like a little 21" or something for under $200, so you should be able to find one around $400 or $500, but might not get the best quality until $800 or so. Don't get any of the $2,000 jobs though, they're pretty much the same thing.
-
Yep, definitely will help the playoff push.
-
I like the new buttons btw, idk if you made them or if they're in a pack but they look better to me.
-
I agree, and even if Happ is pitching above himself right now, let him lol. As long as he wins 7 out of every 8 decisions, I'm fine.
-
I don't see it mentioned anywhere if it'll be on the Wii version too, but they could (I mean there's an online store for the Wii, why not?). Hopefully it's just being overlooked by reporters since it's the first year the Wii has a 2K bball game.
-
True, but even without the trade they have Happ as the #3/4 guy. Not bad at all.
-
Cole Hamels (or #2) Roy Halladay (or #1) Cliff Lee Joe Blanton Jamie Moyer Beast starting 5, and we know what the lineup can do. That's scary if it happens. Ben Fancisco is one of the best backup outfielders in the game now, him and Andruw Jones stand out to me as the best backups. I think Ben will probably pinch hit on a nightly basis (except when the top 3 guys are throwing complete games lol), and still be a productive part of the trade. Should there be an injury in the All Star outfield, they have a very capable replacement. He's also a very good defensive player, can catch some hard-to-get-to balls, and he's only got 5 career errors.

I honestly have always liked that song lol. It seems way too gay to admit Jesse made a good song, but still. lol

Sources: Bucks Interested In Warrick
Flight replied to The Goods's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
Yeah, I imagine he'd get to play 35 minutes a game and shoot pretty much whenever he wanted.
