  1. I WIN MOTHA _____. http://www.gifflix.com/files/933cc5f311b4.gif
  2. ARCO Arena (not during a game though) AT&T Park (driven right by it, haven't been inside it sadly, want to go to a Giants game sometime soon) Rose Garden (Blazers FTW) Autzen Stadium (Ducks Football, the loudest stadium in the country. A few games have gotten so loud people call in earthquake reports at the other end of Eugene. It's insane.) The PIT/Mac Court (Ducks basketball, high school state playoffs. The gym shakes when it gets loud, it's kind of old but it's got history. Kinda sad to see the new arena being built, but it should be sick. Thank you Phil Knight, we love Nike.) SafeCo Field (again, been right next to it but haven't been inside to see a game sadly.) Qwest Field (Gonna watch a Sounders game next summer there, if not later this summer. Probably going to see a Seahawks game at some point too.) Hayward Field (Ducks track, holds all kind of national championship events. Ducks running teams = GOAT) Want to go to: MSG Fenway Dallas Cowboys Stadium (waiting on a sponsor haha) All of the notable ones, gotta love U of O. I just hope I can say I've seen games in more of them next year.
  3. I don't think he's smarter than CP3. And what, is Shawn Bradley the best center in NBA history, apart from Yao? He's the biggest...
  4. Actually yeah, feelin V2, nice texturing to it.
  5. #24, not quite the same body but still plenty athletic, and has refined all of his skills.
  6. Good to hear that Ibaka is playing well. Any news on Hardin?
  7. I don't really know what to lean towards, considering I've never had NBA level coaching. Shooting is 50% form, 50% feel/touch if you ask me. My form isn't that great, it's fairly unorthodox, but given that Shawn Marion can shoot well, it doesn't seem to be that big of a problem. That said though, look at the greatest shooters of all time, they all have perfect (or close to it) form. As far as driving the lane and ball handling, practice will help the handles. NBA weight rooms definitely make every player stronger from draft day to their plateau, at which point age takes over. By then, experience makes up for it though. Defense, to me, is a lot more based on you're desire and athletic ability. It also depends heavily on intelligence. Scouts in the NBA can tell any player how to guard their man all game, it's just a matter of going out there and having the mind (and ability to handle the stress) to keep doing what you should be doing. I'm a defensively focused player, and I think a key reason for that is my athletic ability and tenacity. The main factor, though, is my intelligence. I'm a smart player, don't get scouting reports on specific players, but I remember every guy's game for the next time we play. That said, it's a toss-up for me, but I think I'll lean towards improving offense as being easier to improve.
  8. I didn't see anywhere that you can back up that Deron is a better passer, or equal. I didn't see where you point out how Deron uses his strength (probably because he doesn't use it fully). I depends on what you mean by shooting. If you count tear drops in the lane as part of your shooting repotuare(sp?), then I think Paul has the advantage because he takes higher percentage shots. Deron shoots better from 3 land like I said. Mid range, Paul is cash money. He isn't Steve Nash but he hits almost everything inside the arc when he's open. He can't really do the Kobe routine and shoot the fade-aways with a man all over him, but he doesn't need to. His quickness gets him open a ton of times in a game, and when he can't get open he usually makes the right read. I just don't see how Deron is the better player. I know head to head he's had more success, but that's been swinging in CP3's favor over the last two seasons as well.
  9. Yeah I don't see him as a 20 ppg guy at any point in his career, but I think 15 points on a night-to-night basis is coming soon.
  10. CP3's baby floater/teardrop is the best in the NBA, with Tony Parker the close second. He scores the majority of his points in the lane, and when he can't get a shot off he's in the right area to make a pass to the best option available. Deron might be a little stronger, but like I said he doesn't rebound as well, and his defense is worse. So where the hell does that get him, make him box out a little better? It's not nearly as important for a PG to have strength as it is for a post player, and in the cases it needs to be used all out CP3 actually gains the advantage by using his head. They aren't equal passers. Deron's stats are worse, with more options to pass to. His real ability is a little worse, he can't make as high of a percentage of the nice bounce passes that CP3 makes, and he doesn't have the ally-oop ability either. Deron has worse handles, doesn't have the same IQ, and is more turnover prone. He doesn't play D as well either. Deron averaged .4 more turnovers per game last year than Paul, and averages .3 more in his career. He averages less assists and has been beaten in that category in his career, and also scores less. 3.5 points less last year, and less in his career. He hasn't been on the NBA all D team, and hasn't deserved to. Chris gambles on defense a lot, I'll give you that, but he's the better perimeter defender and holds his own inside against guards. He's even blocked posts before, and has been known to box out centers and 4s. Paul is the superior player. Deron is the second best point guard on the planet right now, the second best passing point guard too. Tony Parker is probably third at this point in time. Deron is great, and a future HOFer, but Paul is going to go down as one of the top 5 greatest point guards ever.
  11. CP3. His only real disadvantage is his size, but he rebounds better than Deron so he makes up for it pretty well. His 3 ball isn't quite as good as Deron's, but it has improved a lot and is close to the same level now.
  12. Kung-Fu Panda, cause he's got some pudge and still manages a few triples, and Pena cause even though he has a bad average and strikes out a lot, he still leads the AL in HR.
  13. Nah it's 1000x better. I like it alot more than the iPhone. Anyway just bought some accessories for it for cheap on eBay, now I can use it as an MP3 player in my truck for now.
  14. Flight

    Quattro

Nice, that's really cool. Commented/Favorited on DA.
  15. Whatever, I don't really know about this kid's motives anymore, but as a player he'll help out wherever. It would make the finals more fun to watch.
  16. Bosh has turned out to be a great pick, but Wade's even better. Best draft class in history though, as we all know.
  17. Kyle Singler (and the rest of the future pro-athlete Singlers) - Know him personally, had lunch with him a few times Kevin Love - Watched him warm up before a game and talked a little Dennis Dixon, Jonathan Stewart, and almost all of the other Ducks football stars - At a UO golf tournament Aaron Brooks - Got to tell him to tear up the NCAA tourney Others but I g2g
  18. Cancer. Honestly, I'm seeing it right now in my family. Can't imagine anything worse, it lasts long enough to make it terrible, and short enough that you can't do much in the time you know you have left.
  19. 1. BJ Upton 2. Justin Upton 3. Elvis Andrus 4. Andrew McCutcheon 5. Hanley Ramirez Other notables: Fred Lewis, Matt Cain, Tim Lincecum, Dexter Fowler, Carl Crawford I'm a speed guy.
  20. That one's nice, except his ear is a little jagged. Nice job though.
  21. JR is gonna go for 23 probably, he wore it in New Orleans. Anyone wear 23 now?
