There's not too much Stoudemire can do against Pierce other than stay in front as well he did and throw a hand up. I'd have doubled off Rondo simply because Pierce is the go to iso-player.

I can't say enough about Davis' defense. Very few mistakes, terrific awareness on the weak side, plus the quickness to defend one-on-one. He's turning into a front-line team-defender.

For those not watching, Rondo turned his left ankle pretty badly. He may be done for the game. I'd be shocked if he came back. Nate Robinson has played terrific today though. Great defense, he just hits a three, and when the Knicks give up the baseline, he explodes and draws a foul.
