  1. Beamer, you gotta IM me sometime.

  2. Marlins are gonna be trading Dan Uggla within a week according to Rosenthal. GM meetings are this week as well.
  3. Beamer? Sup bud, it's Moneyman. Welcome to OTR.
  4. Woooo FA is always fun. Winter Meetings are a blast as well. Should be a good next few months. Hoping the Brewers can upgrade the pitching.
  5. LMAO at these refs. Over the back? Maggette didn't even touch him.
  6. Here are some quotes about RR. Tori Hunter: Brian Anderson (Current Brewers TV announcer: Was Dodgers minor league TV announcer when RR was manager there) Joe Maddon: I'm willing to give this guy a chance, although I would much rather have had Joey Cora. Does anyone know anything more about this guy? Good fit for the Brewers?
  7. Rotoworld. The Wolves beat the Bucks on Friday. Do you think the Wolves are the worst team in the NBA right now?
  8. What are some goals you have for your team coming into the off-season? Brewers Trade Prince Fielder to the Tampa Bay Rays for Wade Davis, and a lower level prospect. Sign Lance Berkman to a 2 year deal worth about 6-7 million per year. Trade whatever prospects it takes to land Zack Greinke Sign Bobby Valentine as manager Defense C: Jonathan Lucroy 1B: Lance Berkman 2B: Rickie Weeks 3B: Casey McGehee SS: Alcedias Escobar LF: Ryan Braun CF: Lorenzo Cain RF: Corey Hart Rotation: 1. Zack Greinke 2. Yovani Gallardo 3. Wade Davis 4. Randy Wolf 5. Mark Rogers Bullpen is still a bit iffy, but you have Axford, Hawkins, Loe, Braddock, Jeffries, and Coffey. Your goals for your team?
  9. Gotta love Danny G lmao. Maggette has had more of a impact then Danny G or Charlie Bell ever did. What an awesome trade that was for the Bucks.
  10. Awesome job by Jennings last night, First 3 games: @ NOR: 41 MIN, 5-14 FG, 2-6 3PT, 3-4 FT, 15 PTS, 2 REB, 10 AST @ MIN: 34 MIN, 4-15 FG, 0-6 3PT, 6-8 FT, 14 PTS, 3 REB, 7 AST CHA: 40 MIN, 6-8 FG, 3-3 3PT, 5-6 FT, 20 PTS, 10 REB, 10 AST Total Stats: 38 MIN, 15-37 FG (40.5%) 5-15 3PT (33.3%) 14-18 FT (77.8%) 16.3 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 9.0 APG If Jennings can average 8-10 assists per game, he'll be an all-star this year.
  11. Awesome game so far. Jennings, Delfino, Bogut were all awesome. Good game so far.
  12. The reason why I am for a salary cap is because wouldn't it be nice for all teams to have nearly the same amount of money to spend on free agency? Sure, some teams like the Rangers, Rays, Marlins etc make the playoffs, but do you really think the Rays will be able to keep Crawford, Pena, or Soriano? Those teams could draft all the good players they want (Rays do a great job of drafting btw) but they are never able to keep the good players because they always leave for free agency because a big market team will offer 100 million plus for them. Let's take the Brewers for example. Their whole lineup is pretty much homegrown (outside of McGehee) Fielder is one hell of a player, and because of this, he knows what he can get on the open market. The Brewers payroll is probably about 80 million. Do you think it would be smart for them to offer Prince Fielder 100+ milllion over a 5-6 year span? That would be nearly 25% of their payroll. What I am trying to say is the small market teams can draft really well, make the playoffs, but then it won't matter because their star players will just leave for FA to a bigger market team. So then they have to rebuild again. Rinse, wash and repeat. But if your a bigger market team, you could hit up the FA market because you have more to spend. Just my thoughts on this.
  13. I think the Bulls are going to be a very good team once they are fully healthy. I know Kyle Korver has been hurt (bothered by an ankle injury) and then Boozer will probably be out for the next month. Deng needs to step up as well. 13 PTS in 36 MINS isn't great at all, and Deng was 5-13 (2-6 FT). He needs to shoot better as well.
  14. Pretty simple question. Who do you think is the worst team in the East and the West?
  15. Do you think Baseball needs a salary cap? Yes or No, and why?
  16. I'm not even gonna make predictions anymore, but I really like the Giants in game 2. Matt Cain is a stud pitcher, and the Giants have all the momentum going right now, plus they are home again.
  17. Brockman is a hustle player and one heck of a defensive player. Have you ever watch him play? He boxes out, he does all the dirty work. He didn't play much last year, but when he did, he was awesome. Theres a reason why Kings fans were pissed when he signed with the Bucks.
  18. LOL at that no-call at the end. Anyways, we are without two of our top defensive players (Brockman and Luc) and CDR is hurt as well for us. Jennings impressed me, although he should have took that 3 at the end. John Salmons didn't play in one pre-season game, and he had 2 practices, what else would you expect from him? He's been hurt, I'll give him a pass on this one. Delfino impressed me. Gooden sucks at defense, and Maggette can get to the line. Pretty much sums it up. NO hit some ridiculous shots, was a good first game though.
  19. I did love how Maggette came in and in 3 minutes scored 10 points and got to the rim 4 times. Brandon Jennings: 7 PTS, 0 REB, 5 AST (2-5) John Salmons: 2 PTS, 2 REB, 0 AST (1-5) Carlos Delfino: 8 PTS, 5 REB, 0 AST (3-6) Drew Gooden: 7 PTS, 3 REB, 0 AST (3-6) Andrew Bogut: 7 PTS, 8 REB, 0 AST (3-9) Bench: Keyon Dooling: 0 PTS, 0 REB, 0 AST (0-1) Earl Boykins: 2 PTS, 0 REB, 0 AST (1-1) Corey Maggette: 12 PTS, 5 REB, 0 AST (4-5) Ersan Illysova: 2 PTS, 2 REB, 0 AST (0-3) Larry Sanders: 0 PTS, 0 REB, 1 AST (0-1) Team Stats: 17-42 FG (40.5%) 3-12 3PT (25.0%) 10-14 FT (71.4%) 6 AST, 26 REB, 16 PF
  20. these refs are [expletive]ing jokes. 2 awful calls on Maggette, and just overall, they have been garbage. Bogut, Maggette, Jennings, Delfino all look good. Sanders meh, Dooling meh Salmons have been god-awful. Tied game after one half, not bad. Foul situation: Maggette (3) Jennings (3) Gooden (3) Salmons (2)
  21. You wouldn't have been able to sign JJ, Krover, and Boozer. I don't think you would have had the cap space to sign 2 max contracts and then Krover. and the Bucks are better then the Bulls. They are REALLY overrated.
  22. FYI, rumors are going around that the Bucks are going after him and have made an offer. Plus CLE still hold's his rights, so they can do a sign and trade and stuff like that.
