Got Favors?

I'm not trying to say Aldrich won't be good, I think he will be a future elite player in the NBA if he takes the right route, I'm just saying everyone is prejudice against certain colors in certain sports, and get this thought that they just won't do good if they are a certain color playing a certain place. Black QB's, White Big Men, Black Pitchers/Catchers, non white hockey players. You just see it in all sports.

That'd be a nice lineup there, but I don't see any reason for the Lakers to do that, unless Fisher leaves of course. They have enough depth at SF-SG so Butler wouldn't fit in, and Kidd and Fisher platoon would be worth less than a Bynum off the bench/starting

This is true, Aldrich is white, big, and a great defensive player. But his color is what holds him back. He's like a black quarterback.

Looking back on this, I really wish the Nets would've pulled the trigger. I mean Cp3 would've no doubt brought in another big name free agent, giving us a for sure big 3 in Lopez- Cp3 - FA. That would've been sick, although I'm sure the Nets had to have take on a few contracts.. And thats probably why this stalled.

I'll keep this thread updated with the Nets FA Moves. Not sure if this site already has something for this Do you guys think the Nets have any realistic chance at landing one of the big names? Preferably Wade or LeBron? I love the NBA Draft and Free Agency, especially the Draft. Because the Nets suck of course.

Jason Kidd overrated? In my opinion Nash is overrated. Nash defensively blows, he has a career dRTG of 110, while Kidd rests at a 102. Don't believe in advanced stats? Even the normal stats prove Kidd has the edge. Now, there is more to comparing then stats yes, but Kidd takes over here. APG Kidd - 9.2 Nash - 8.3 Kidd has a steady lead there, although I will admit Nash is the better "clutch" or "legit" passer out of these two guys. Scoring wise, it's safe to say Kidd isn't that accurate, but he puts up the points his team needs him to put up, averaging 13.6 PPG Career (Nash 14.6) Bottom line is, defense always takes the edge when comparing players, and the fact that Nash could shoot better just doesn't make up for the fact he can't play on his man.

Wall, Turner, Favors. Among others, Paul George is an outstanding athlete, and is already being compared to the likes of the old Tracy McGrady.
