Go find the nearest pencil sharpener, lube up the hole real nice, and go wild. I always like Durex condoms, as thin as you can find 'em. Currently, because they were handing 'em out for free at my school, I got a buncha Lifestyles Assorted Colors condoms. They're ok.

Damn Miami scored 69pts in the 1st half. Wade's got 22pts, Bron has 9 assists, and they have a 16pt lead. Oh, and Beasley got taken out of the game after he fell really hard on his hip driving to the hoop.

Eh, I've seen much worse pretty much every year at Nets games Back in like 2000 with Keith Van Horn and Kery Kittles on a space ship...oh the memories. Speaking of the Nets intro, this year they actually have a similar intro to the Heat's. They are dressed up, coming out of limo's to a red carpet with fans trying to grab at them, etc... Me and my dad just looked at each other with sarcastic smiles and laughed lol.

I think Memphis would be a great suitor. They have Randolph's huge $17M expiring contract which would definitely be enticing to the Hawks, and Smith would really fit in with that team and give them some much needed defense at the PF position. To make the deal work a third party might need to be involved, but the foundation of that deal would really benefit both teams IMO.

Are the Grizzlies doomed next season?
Nitro replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Real Deal is right. Unless you have a legit #1 scoring option/guy that can attract double teams and consistently make plays for others, you are getting nowhere in this league. Balance and strong chemistry is also very important, but without that #1 guy, the ceiling for a team like that is 7th-8th seed tops, which is almost like purgatory (not good enough to get past the first round, and not bad enough to get a top 5 draft pick). -
Dagger. EDIT: Spoke too soon.

Tuned into this game at the start of the 4th quarter, and I'm really pissed I watched MNF over the first 3 quarters. Evans is killing it, the Sacramento crowd is getting load and the teams are playing their hearts out...all you can ask for from two (likely) lottery teams. That last sequence with Evans making the pass from his knees to Casspi to Cousins was sick.

The smiley in his post when he posted that first Curry video should have been your cue it was a joke. When you asked for a video more recent, you showed you actually did not know he could dunk nowadays, or were just being a douche. I'm assuming the latter. But now you're just being difficult...
-
They didn't appear to be protecting him. And the douche part is when you said, "Do you have a video more recent than 2007?" which, to answer the post where you quoted me, is where you "appeared" to actually not know Curry could dunk as a near 7ftr, or were just being a douche.
-
They aren't worked up. They've been bad-mouthing Curry as long as they've been here. You said Curry couldn't dunk, Illwill made a joke which you took far too seriously, then STAT City proved you wrong.

I think Francis was just more out of control, period, which goes back to my first post where the main difference between them is between the ears. I don't think athletically speaking Rose has a distinct edge in terms of body control, and I REALLY disagree with the whole higher and further thing. Rose's max vertical jump was measured at 40" pre-draft. I can't find an official measurement of Francis', but on Google multiple sites have him listed at 43". Just take a look at him in the 2000 Dunk Contest (where they measured the vertical jump on some dunks...I *think* Francis got over 40" at the contest)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf4TheVeWpQ

On a more serious note from my last post, even if Curry is playing like he did at his peak (which ain't happening), he just doesn't fit in to what the Heat need. Yes, he can score in the post, but THAT IS IT! At his best he was one of the worst rebounding big men in the league, he is an absolute defensive liability (at least most defensive liabilities at the C position can block 1 shot per game...Curry couldn't), and he is VERY turnover prone who has NEVER averaged 1.0 assist per game. That's just from an on-court perspective. Off the court his attitude and personality could not be any further from what the Heat organization represents. If miraculously he finds a way onto the wagon, all the Heat want/expect is 6 fouls.

Rose is probably a bit quicker than Francis, but overall more athletic? I don't know, Francis was a FREAK when he was younger... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-2itVYnZRI

Purple drank sucks and tastes like crap. I would need to take every single one of those bottles to feel anything. Two of those OC's that I posted will get me nice. Anyhoo...

Not a Knicks fan, but I miss getting to watch all his games on MSG. He's always been really, really underrated ('till last year anyway), and he was the only reason I would ever watch Knick games. That double crossover move he would use on fastbreaks was SICK... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0-FS8ZcDmg&feature=fvst

Pacers Will Run Offense Through Hibbert
Nitro replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
It's a sound idea. I think it accomplishes two important things... 1) It gives Hibbert the chance to really develop his all-around game, and will give him the usage and responsibility of being the focal point of the offense. With his size, post skills and passing skills, the only thing keeping him back is the coach giving him the keys to the car. Now that he has that green light, he has the chance to learn how to utilize those skills while taking 12-13+ shots and facing defenses that are geared to stop him. That is really the first big step in becoming a star player and #1 option. 2) It allows Danny Granger to play off-ball more, where he is most effective/efficient. Giving Granger the oppertunity to play off someone and not have to create as many shots for himself is exactly what the doctor ordered. The last few seasons his efficiency has plummeted, and the one parallell has been the number of shots he's been assisted on has dropped as well. Making Hibbert the focal point of the offense (and the addition of Collison) will take a ton of defensive pressure off him, and he can slip into a role that he's much more suited to be in. BTW, how has Darren Collison looked so far? I haven't seen any Pacer games this season, but from what I gather he has been a bit of a dissapointment the first few games. -

The Warriors need to run more PnR's with David Lee. He's one of the, if not the best PnR big man in the league, and right now they are just playing streetball which renders Lee somewhat irrelevant. Once Curry gets back I expect those two to have some great chemistry, but in the time being they need to get Lee more involved.
