Grizzles Prepared To Deal Thabeet
moeroadkill replied to The Regime's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
didn't they just make a statement saying they weren't giving up on him? -
i watched 3/4 of the replay, i accidentally saw the scores. team overhelps way to much which left them wide oepn on so many shots. why scott brooks refuses to play cole is beyond me, unless cole CANT play nba basketball its the only reason i can think of and when we play NY basketball no doubt we are going to lose

lots of players do this but i dont think they have they same intention as KG did/does haha reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxVRQHU5It0 -
i think their celebration after a goal is ridiculous but i dont get it are they mocking soccer when they flop? and i didnt find it funny at all
-
i think they should run more, they are stuggling to score the ball they are what, 3-7 last ten 3-8 if you include mavs loss today scoring around 90 points per game. they are also 20th in pace, which imo is pretty bad considering they play some small ball i know they will be experimenting for the next few games so maybe they will change there pace while there at it

A COLE SIGHTING!

great defense in the 4th quarter, collison has been huge all game and he has got his hands on a few passes leading to steals and easy buckets, harden played well on ackson and green and westbrook finally decided to show up and while durant keeping us in the game.

and how exactly is coming 2nd in mvp voting, was named First Team All-NBA in his 3rd year, making the all star team, being the youngest scoring champ in the history of the nba (like it or not, he is), leading his team to a 50 win season, surprising a lot of people by taking the NBA defending champs to 6 games loosing by a putback, having a streak of 25+ points in 29 consecutive games then being the leader of Team USA while averaging 28ppg at a very high clip, receiving more hype than his worth kenny said that in three years from now he will be.. he didnt say he was the 3rd best player now. if he did i couldn't find it anywhere you might have that mixed up.. which that statement is really not that far fetched, 3 year kobe will be done. wade will be, what? 32? 31? years old lebron will still be 28-29 and Durant will be 25-26 coming into his own (bearing no serious injuries of course)
-
he took a 23 win team to a 50 win season. at aged 21 there is no doubt going to be some hype around him but does that make him overrated? hell no what hype has he been getting? that otr voted him top 4th that GM's voted him being favorite for mvp this season? if he was being overrated do you think that nba would put him on the 'race to mvp'? he hasnt even made the list once yet. probably not even a honorable mention and westbrook has

that is so horrible. he is 3rd in rebound behind Carmelo and Wallace (last year he was second behind wallace) idk if thats above average thats pretty darn good. i dont understand the whole "for his hight his a bad rebounder" thats aload of bull [expletive] he is 6th in assists a difference of .2 from being top 3, he may not be the best play maker not everyone is a lebron james but he gets the job done. his been rapidly improving this season in his iso situations, reading the double and making the right pass. perfect example 4th quarter against the hornets he had 4 assists and probably 3-5 hockey assists in that quarter alone didn't turn the ball over once. his actually a pretty good defensive player and when it matters most he really locks down on players. he can guard multiple positions his a good help defender, plays smart uses his length very well to bother shots. and even though his thin he his not the weakest. he doesn't get pushed around i dont recall anyone calling him better than kobe, lebron wade or paul and even if they did its not that much of a stretch kids only 22 years old. im not saying i think he is but if people do im sure they are adding into factor of that he is only 22 years old, youngest scoring champ (like it or not he is) very humble and down to earth and only wants to get better and took his team to a 50 win season
