I wrote something about this earlier, and the stupid phone didn't put it through.. dumb. He was due a base of $15.5M this year, this restructures him to a max of $10M, with a superbowl win worth $1M and playing in 16 games worth $1.5M (so he's probably due at most $7.5M). Savvy move, especially in the new system. He works, they re-sign. He doesn't, they are free of that huge extension.
