'08-'10 Bowe had the 2nd highest drop % in the NFL (by players with a high number of thrown-at). He was second to only Braylon Edwards.

Roddy White led the NFL in drops this year.. actually, three of the top four in drops this year were Roddy, Bowe, and Marshall.. didn't realize it actually.

Most Memorable Knicks Moment(s)
NomarFachix replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
That Curry one was good Fish, I remember that haha I was so happy One of my tops is the Knicks/Lakers when Marbury hit the two free throws, stole the inbounds pass, and turned and passed to Houston for a 3 to tie the game and go to OT.. they went on to lose, but I remember jumping around for a while -

You now own the Knicks. What do you do?
NomarFachix replied to Real Deal's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I'm comparing him to Marbury through 1.5 years. It's up to him to change the next few seasons. All I did was compare the big three stats.. but considering Melo was asked to play point forward to start the year and couldn't, I don't think it's terribly wrongful anyhow. Marbs scored, dished, and even played some D. He didn't become a completely horrendous player until he went nuts / Isiah got to him / D'Antoni annexed him. But even in his prime, he wasn't a winner or leader and lacked that extra 'something'. Good, selfish players. -

Melo first 1.5 years: 26.3 Points (46%), 6.7 Rebounds, 3.0 Assists 21.3 Points (40%), 5.9 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists Marbs first 1.5 years: 19.8 Points (43%), 3.1 Rebounds, 9.3 Assists 21.7 Points (46%), 3.0 Rebounds, 8.1 Assists Similarities: Selfish, ME players.. don't make teammates better.. bad leaders.. sulking.. if anything, dude, you could say that Marbs was the better player through his first season and a half.. you have to keep in mind, crazy [expletive] Marbury didn't come out until longer in his Knicks tenure. You can't say Melo is a top 10 scorer when he's shooting 40% and can't get anything going. At this moment in time, there's no way he's a top 10. -
One less CB on the market: New York Giants reached agreement with cornerback Terrell Thomas. Yesssssssssssss

I've been torn over this. Take a HB round 1, it seems like overkill, as they'll have to split carries with an established Bradshaw who has a long contract. I'd absolutely want one, though, considering Bradshaw's injury history. I like Danny Ware (a lot), but he's been very concussion prone so far. Scary twosome, and Da'Rel is still very, very raw. They definitely need a TE, as Ballard and Beckum will be out deep into the season.. but I'm not sure how big the TE value is at the end of the 1st. Schefter tweeted earlier today that the Raiders are going to be cutting Kevin Boss, should we try and bring him back in? I'd be all for drafting a MLB, if the right guy is there at the end of the 1st.. but then again, I'd be just as happy re-signing Goff and rolling with Kiwanuka and Boley at the outside spots. That's a pretty solid threesome. Bring back Blackburn as a mentor/backup.. anyone notice how well the defense started playing last season after they brought him in to start and he began calling the games? He had an unquestionable affect on the team/communication. I guess I'd take the best HB/TE available at our spot and address the other in the 2nd round. O-Line should be ok.. Beatty will be back at LT, you have Diehl at LG, Baas at C, Snee at RG.. my only big question mark is RT. But.. there are several options there. You can move Diehl out there and plug Petrus in at LG, and likely not miss a beat. You can also train James Brewer (hugeeee dude.. 6'6 323) in at RT this year and get him ready to play there long term. Either way, I don't think OL is a spot you address in round 1 unless an absolute can't-miss guy falls to you.

It's been the Lin and Melo show lately, and you see how far it's gotten us.. neither of them play defense, and Lin is a drive and kick.. Melo has proven he needs an iso set on the wing to score effectively, and he isn't getting those looks with a Lin at PG. Andre Miller would be perfect running alongside Melo in an iso offense. Lin would be great with any high tempo, drive and kick offense.. but that just simply isn't what an offense would be with Melo at the forefront -

I feel like some of the options are dependent on one another.. trade Melo, you're going to want to keep Amar'e/Lin/D'Antoni to run the offense that caters to their abilities. Keep Melo, you're going to want to trade Amar'e/Lin, fire D'Antoni, and then go ahead and find players who will defer completely to Melo on offense and make up for him on defense. What would I do, personally? I'd trade Melo for the first acceptable package offered.. grab a player who fits the system, plays a little defense, and grab some youngsters and picks in the process (would the Sixers do this for Iggy/Turner/pick(s)? Probably not, but it's something I'd do without thinking twice). I'd fire Grunwald, beg Donnie to return and give him full control of what he does best.. build a winning roster. I'd put a restraining order on James Dolan and Isiah Thomas. Stay away. I'd lower ticket prices and get real fans back in the building. I'd hire Charles Oakley to shit kick Amar'e any time he ruins a defensive set. I'd do a lot of things.. none of which are being done now. James Dolan doesn't care about winning, only about making money. /rant -
Draft is coming up.. what does everyone think?
-
Haha, Amar'e is pissed.. Q: You were scoring very well in the 3rd, what were you doing that fueled that in the 3rd quarter? A: The ball was coming to me. I was ready for it from the 1st quarter.. prepared to have a phenomenal game from the start. But the ball only came to me in that 3rd quarter, not the other quarters.. so I can only do so much.

does he drink a 40?

Trade Melo and James Dolan in a package for anything.. Johan Petro, maybe.

Don't worry about it dude, that's not a pun anyway.. and we accept that we suck. I'm a few games from wearing that logo as my avatar. It's true. -
If the Heat got Dwight they'd literally never lose another game. 82 win seasons, undefeated playoff runs until one of them left.
