Eh, I'm not sure I agree with this.. the defense has been middle of the pack (somewhere around 94 PPG allowed), whereas last year it was at least 100+.. If the team is scoring efficiently, we win a lot of games giving up 94 a game. We need a point guard who can create and force the issue.

Yeah, I mean all throughout his tenure with the Knicks he had the ability to score at will. He just got in D'Antoni's doghouse for showing up to camp 80 lbs overweight, getting constant injuries from all the weight he had to carry, and sexually harassing his male limo driver. If he's over the immature bullshit, he's a force. I'm not doubting Wade/LBJ/Riley will be on him, though.. it's just up to him as to whether or not he wants to listen (and thus get out of debt).

I liked him better with the cornrows/braids/whatever. He looks thin and in shape. He's a beast down low and can score at a heavy volume. He's talented for days. The only question is his continued drive and maturity. That's always been his biggest demon.

He shot 39%/32% last year. 34%/17% this year (before tonight's game). He doesn't pass exceptionally well, is a mediocre defender, and rebounds fairly well for a SF. Has a per below 10 for each of his first two seasons. There's just honestly nothing to be excited over.. at all.

As I said when the CP3 trade was initially being discussed, I have no idea why people view Aminu as this great prospect. He's shown absolutely nothing at the NBA level.

I've never gotten the NFC East rivalries (where all teams loathe one another). I hate the Eagles the most, but I've rooted for the Cowboys in the playoffs before (the year with the Favre-led Vikings.. didn't like the Eagles, Vikings, Saints, OR Cardinals [Kurt Warner - BLECH]..). Was bummed when the Vikes took them out and seemed to rub it in (I loved when Brooking got fired up about it.). And.. nobody can hate the Redskins, they're just so bad (though their fans are kinda lame). Maybe I'm able to be objective more than most fans, idk.. but I just never got it like that.

Amar'e needs to stop dominating the ball (he has absolutely no moves to the basket out of his faceup, and instead tries to bullrush and force shots to draw fouls.. only he isn't getting them called). He needs to play down low, slash to the basket, pick & roll, move the ball, and shoot if he's open. Newsflash, big guy.. what you've been doing hasn't worked, at all. Your iso plays have been killing us. Adjust. Melo, if you're off.. pass the ball. Wrist hurts? Pass the ball. Double teamed with an open teammate? ..pass the ball. This double iso bullshit doesn't work when neither of you are capable of scoring efficiently. The offense worked best tonight when there was a lot of movement and passing. Then, one of the two head honchos would take the ball, hold it for 10 seconds, make an ineffective move, and brick a jumper that sent Phoenix on a fast break in the other direction. Really, really tired of the nonsense. As Alan Hahn put it, the Knicks are a race car without a steering wheel or a driver. When I have wet dreams at night, they're centered around James Dolan staying the [expletive] out of Donnie Walsh's way last season and allowing the guy to do his job. This is a mess.

Meanwhile, Shumpert has hit 4 straight for 10 points in about 2 minutes, trying his best to keep us in the game.
