I traded for Brady in my fantasy league, he'd better light it up here!

Yeah.. hoping for an early retirement. Or a fountain of youth. Or a couple healthy seasons. #2 being the most likely of the three.

Well, 2009 wasn't that long ago, and he had game winners and game savers in each series we won. He also sports a .900 OPS career in the playoffs. This year, though.. horrible. Hurt/Old/Declining. Bad.

This isn't exactly true, but he's most certainly aging poorly.

Oh well, it was a good season. We weren't expected to make much noise, and plenty had the Sox winning the division and the Rays the wild card.. but we somehow ended up with the division the most wins in the AL. Jeter and Posada both looked really old for stretches while playing regularly, A-Rod was hurt 3/4 of the season and through the playoffs, Mark Teixeira continued his stark decline.. but a lot of players battled. Great years for Cano and Granderson, Robertson with an all-time season, and Rivera holding strong. Huge low risk, high reward signings in Luis Ayala, Corey Wade, Freddy Garcia, Bartolo Colon, Eric Chavez, et al. Looking forward to the offseason and what changes it'll bring, and I'm sure I'll have my wishlist up in the near future. Great series by Detroit, wishing them luck in the next round.

I think A-Rod holding at third on Posada's single stands out a little more, but it just wasn't meant to be.

I'll be paintballing, but go Giants! Apparently Tuck had to pull himself from practice today after only 3 minutes, his neck is still all jacked up. Supposedly in the week 3 game he had his helmet yanked on, and it set him back. He got a new helmet designed that looks a lot like Canty's, with a lot less facemask holes to pull from.

I love talented kids!
