  1. Which scrubs? Chandler, Gallo, Felton are all better than any single player on your team not named Melo. Afflalo, J.R., etc... All of them. Make the argument that Nene is there, but he's on par at best. lol scrubs. smh.
  2. Jersey switches are so ugly, I wish that fad would die out quickly.
  3. Moe we loveeeeeeeeee youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu All the best.
  4. They cut cap and made moves for expirings from the time Walsh took over in '08. As you can see, they totally did it last minute, with ease, to get a superstar in here. Or, in reality, it was a three year process that was finally completed via scramble at the '10 deadline. As I said, neither of the previous GM's would have had enough patience to undergo a three year rebuild and take all the scrutiny that is attached. Especially not with the numbers that I provided, a league high $103M team salary on a $49.5M salary cap? They should have cut $53.5M in salary in a few minutes? Nobody wanted those contracts, it would have had to be played out. And neither GM was equipped to do so. Thank the Lord that Walsh came along.
  5. Houston brought them to the Finals in '99, got a max contract, and his knees went out. From that point they were over the cap through this past offseason. I feel like a broken record, but saying that free agents didn't want to sign in NY is fruitless because they weren't in a position to sign here in the first place.
  6. Further-- The Knicks' problem has been impatience. Neither Layden or Isiah wanted to wait things out, or to have a true plan. They compounded roster payroll problems with further roster payroll problems. They traded youth and picks for fat salaries and underperforming players. If you had asked either man to be patient, cut payroll, and start fresh... They'd have laughed at you. They were equally atrocious general managers.
  7. Here's an example... The '04/'05 salary cap was $49.5M. The Knicks boasted a $103M payroll and scored 32 wins. That is not salary that can be shed without a longterm plan, and there were no LeBron James situations prior to the LeBron James situation. You can't use the last decade as a measuring stick of free agents wanting to or not wanting to play in NY, because it was impossible for them to do so in any event. Well, besides Jerome James. He got his MLE.
  8. The Knicks haven't had cap space since the 90's, so prior free agency periods are somewhat irrelevant. We have two 1sts and three 2nds through 2013.
  9. I was hoping it was a typo, but then you did it twice -_-
  10. lol @ Amar'e still getting no love. Mentioned by a Knicks fan in the top 10 in the league and Confidence as a 3rd tier.
  11. You ever ball at any of the gyms at Rutgers? I usually play some pickup anytime I'm up there before we go out at night, there's always a ton of good kids up there (women's basketball team and men's football are there really often).
  12. Just make the trade and put the drama behind us. I'd miss Gallo more than any of the others, Denver will absolutely LOVE this kid moving forward if the deal goes through. lol @ anyone calling this "three role players". I shake my head at you VIGOROUSLY! You will be liable for my visit to the chiropractor.
  13. If that's truly the case and you have other students in your class who'd back that up as your story, why not go speak to the Dean? Would probably be pointless to put you back in with that professor, but he might throw you in another section with a new professor... Still fairly early in the semester.
  14. Were you apologetic or defiant when he told you to stop texting? How about when he told you to leave the class, did you say anything? When he wrote you the e-mail saying you were out of his class, did you apologize? Ask for a second chance, ask back into the class? It's your future, so do what you want. But you'd likely be best served to get on the good side of all of your teachers, it will pay off. Just swallow your texting pride for two hours a week.
  15. lmao 4 first rounders on top of Harris and Favors with bad players/contracts coming back to Jersey will never get old to me. I hope for the sake of Nets fans that this doesn't happen.
  16. Last night's episode is the hardest I've laughed at this show in a while.
  17. I've had a ton of classes with no hats allowed. It's lame.
  18. Dropped my phone in my beer, didn't even notice for like 10 minutes. Looks like the Blackberry is dead, tack on another expenditure when my refund check gets here
