Randy Moss waived by Vikings
NomarFachix replied to NomarFachix's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Not sure if I mentioned it earlier or on another site, but they have one week and then a bye... Floyd and Naanee will both be back week 11 (Naanee might be back week 9, to be seen) and Jackson returns week 12. Crayton has one week left as the #1, not a big issue for the league's #1 offense IMO. -

I mean he had five straight productive seasons, but I guess you can narrow it down to one... It was years ago, and he's had injuries... Though none of them were major injuries, so it's not like he's crippled by them. Even if he were, his strength is post position, moves, and overpowering the defender. That's not the same as a guy like T-Mac who lost his legs and now has nothing left... Curry is the same guy he was, he's just always playing himself out of any potential rotation shot because he's got these nagging injuries and he's, well, voluptuous. Low post talent doesn't just... leave, not at age 27. I'm glad I made you laugh, though. Great retort.

He is a talent... That's not something I'd really say is debatable. He's a fat filthy slob, he has no motivation, doesn't work hard, and is oft-injured, leaving him generally useless... But to say he has no talent is ignorant. Dude posted 19.5 and 7 on 58% FG in his last healthy season on 35 MPG. As for long passed, he may be. Might not get another chance in the league, especially if he remains fat, unmotivated, and injury-prone. But he's only 27, he can turn it around if he wants to... "Wanting to" obviously being his problem.

Agree, off the bench it would be nice if Curry is right. None of this is real... HEY! http://i52.tinypic.com/mw5ch0.jpg

Strongly disagree, but it's great that we all get our own opinions and viewpoints.

lmao, absolutely dominant own-job by Lkr.

To be fair, non-existent post scoring presence is non-existent.

Didn't they make a Double Dragon/Battletoads mixed game once? Either way I remember playing Battletoads a ton, fun game, especially when you get on those little space cruisers or whatever they were
-
I just don't think Curry's talent is something you can dismiss or ignore. If he's motivated, in shape, and healthy, the dude is an absolute monster. Definite low risk/high reward move for the Heat, if they nab him.

lmao when I was 11 I swapped games with one of the 12 year olds on my baseball team, I gave him one of the NBA Live's and he gave me the first Resident Evil for PS. I went home and played it after our game, when it was all dark out (it was a night game on the lighted field, so maybe 10 PM)... I walked through the first couple parts, creeped as hell, up to the first cutscene where they show the zombie eating a dude... [expletive] my pants, screamed, and ran upstairs. It was so scary for me at that age, lol. Another scary moment, my brother had one of the Police Quest games for the CPU, I was a little younger this time, like 7 or 8. Opening scene is a crime scene, you're looking around for clues... click around, couldn't figure out what to do. Clicked the dumpster, and a loud noise goes off and there's a kid in there all sliced up and dead in the dumpster... SCREAMED, like the reaction of the fat kid with the scary maze game, and wouldn't sleep with the lights off for a solid month. Awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh87njiWTmw

Nice, totally forgot about WoW and the MGS series (probably my favorite series)

^^^ RE4 and Resident Evil for Gamecube were incredible. EDIT: RE2 for PS and Code Veronica for Dreamcast were sick too.

Randy Moss waived by Vikings
NomarFachix replied to NomarFachix's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Yes, yes I would. I think you'll find the Chargers would too, when they don't claim him. There are a ton of reasons, but I'm not really interested in getting into it. I'll just say that I'd take Moss over Manningham, but I wouldn't take Moss over Manningham... if that makes sense. -
Poor Geek Squad, won't get the steady influx of absolute morons who can't fix the viruses they get off that [expletive] program they call Limewire.

Holy God that song was awful

[expletive] Auburn, go Ducks!

Obviously Moss would love to go back there, I can absolutely see a team claim him in their division though just to richard block the Pats. Go go mighty Dolphins!
