DiTrani sucks, he's probably the only Giants beat writer I don't follow on Twitter. To be honest, Jacobs is getting the short end. Against a team yesterday who you absolutely need to establish a running game against to have a shot of being them, he gets four touches? Four? The offensive line is awful. Andrews needs to find his way into some playing time at LG or RT, and soon. It doesn't help at all that Gilbride is a horrific offensive coordinator and runs Jacobs out there with two extra linemen, runs him to the stacked end, and there are offensive and defensive linemen and linebackers three yards in the backfield and he has to fight just to get back to the line... and then is taken off the field again. It's outrageous how poorly designed this offensive scheme is, and how the coaching staff thinks we're better off with a 3rd down scatback starting and finishing games for us.
