Knicks Offer Chandler For Fernandez
NomarFachix replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Chandler's a great player stuck in a positional logjam... He can't play the 2. He just simply doesn't shoot well enough... and Gallo is going to demand majority of the 3 minutes going forward. -
Knicks Offer Chandler For Fernandez
NomarFachix replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Fernandez would/should start for the Knicks, if they traded for him. Bill Walker, Azu, Roger Mason are his competition. -
lmao Oh an ESPN vote, lawlz. How many blockers do I have to list? Do they have to be starters? Soooooo many 2nd string TE's who are there strictly for blocking are much better at it than Davis is. I can just say Witten and Jeff King and already Vernon isn't elite.
-
Every time you mention blocking, I tell you that he's not an elite blocker. And then you bring up the pro bowl, like that somehow solidifies his blocking. You argue using idiocies. What would you like me to address? You say he's teh bezt blockerz in teh universe, and I say he's not, and not really close, either. Should I address that you say he should be in the pro bowl? I already said he should have started. What else is there to talk about? The dude is not an elite blocker, commits too many penalties, and has too many drops. He's not the best TE in the league, and not extremely close to it, either. 3rd alternate = 6th best NFC TE 11th most yards 6th TD's 3rd YPR (of TE's with 30+ receptions) #1 longest play from scrimmage 1st with two 40+ yard receptions 9th 1DR% Shockey injured, Boss injured... Math done, makes sense. Math completed. He made the pro bowl and gets recognition because he's Gates 2.0. He's a great wideout playing tight end. His blocking is not superb. At all.

If the Redskins go 10-6 or better I'll buy you a steak dinner.

Giants sign OG Shawn Andrews to a 6 year deal. Love this in every possible way.

1. Favorite Giants player? 2. Favorite former Rutgers U athlete? 3. Which campus are you on? 4. Are you the GFX king? 5. Brook Lopez or Andrew Bogut? 6. Is Vernon Davis the best blocking TE in the league? 7. Alcohol of choice? 8. Ever do drugs? 9. You like North Jersey? 10. Least favorite OTR member: Go.

He wasn't srs Flash... lol. Heap hasn't even been the best TE in a single season yet.
-
They voted Davis to start because he had near 1000 yards and a record breaking amount of TD's, lol... And he was a 3rd alternated because that would make him the 6th best TE in the conference, which he most likely was. Puts him on pace to be 12th best NFL wide, which I wouldn't doubt in '08. Translation to your last post, though... 'I am getting pwned, so I blocked you.'. Laughable.

I'm still confused as to who said he shouldn't have started the Pro Bowl. Weird. Vernon Davis is so good at blocking that when an AFC player missed the Pro Bowl with injury, they replaced him with an NFC guy? That's impressive. Conference switching genie. One last time, nobody said he shouldn't be in the Pro Bowl.

PFF isn't reputable? That's like telling me Sabrmetrics are an irresponsible tool for baseball, lol. You are a know-nothing, stop trying to act like you're some football expert. I'm not the one who said anything about the Superbowl, but... why don't you pick the 9ers, [expletive]? They have the immortal Vernon Davis It's fact that you are a homer and fact that you overrate Vernon Davis. He isn't a great blocker, he drops too many balls, he commits too many penalties. Why u so mad over it? Accept facts as a part of life.
-
Now you're accepting that Vernon isn't the best blocking tight end and are choosing to rather change the subject? Nice!
-
He's not a great blocker. Oops!
-
No, RetardMc[expletive]gotDicks. I just said he deserved the pro bowl. Why would that make me mad? You are the one upset that people don't agree with you... lulz. Delirium.

Yankees game was entertaining. Gardner was plunked in the 1st as clear retaliation for his break-up slide on Jose Guillen the other night which sent Guillen to the DL with a bruised knee. Umpire warned both benches, but when Chad Gaudin put a ball in Miggy's back in the 8th, he was not tossed. Leyland threw a fit, shouting "They better watch, they're going to the playoffs. We're not going anywhere!" He screamed and argued with the home plate and third base umpire throughout the rest of the half inning, and was eventually tossed during commercial because he wouldn't shut up. Next half inning they threw behind Jeter, and then came close to hitting him again and close to Texeira and Cano before the inning ended. No words, no ejections, nothing... and I can't believe the Tigers are satisfied with brush backs. Probably not over, so get your popcorn ready for tomorrow.

Fish is right, the pro bowl is based a ton off of stats, and tons of players make it that don't deserve to... That said... Who said that Vernon Davis didn't deserve to go to the Pro Bowl last year? All the PFF article was saying is that he isn't a 96 overall as his Madden rating suggests, as he had a ton of drops and penalties, and isn't a good blocker. His blocking rating is too high. You mad that a website who does this [expletive] for a living is telling you that you're wrong? Get off Vernon's hairy satchel.

Trade Curry for Caron and then not have enough to sign Melo in '11 anyway? Carmelo is not a guarantee to be here in 2011 as a FA... Look at what happened with Mega-Pippen. You get the player if you can get the player, [expletive] the offseason. Gallo + Curry + Picks = buying tremendously low on Carmelo Anthony. STL = Wrong. lulz.
