Offensive MVP: Aaron Rodgers (It was a tough decision for me to make over Megatron but I choose Rodgers because his team is undefeated in and he has the #1 QB rating with 125.7, he complets 71.5 of his passes, and his TD to INT ratio is 20 to 3 he's having a very efficent season) Defensive MVP: Jason Pierre-Paul (He leads the Giants in sacks with 8.5 and 35 tackles this season. And his team has a 5-2 record within 8 weeks) Surpise Team: Bills (I expected the Niners, Bengals, and Lions to eventually have a good season if not this year sometime within the next year or so the Bills on the other hand I didn't expect much from maybe 5 wins but they have that alreay and their tied for #1 in their division) Dissapointing Team: Eagles ( I still think the Eagles will make the playoffs but since were talking about midseason performances I have to put the Eagles with all the talent they signed in the offseason and just having a 3-4 record so far) Dissapointing Player: Chris Johnson (He just got his pay check and he hasn't played up to his pay at all this season. Phillip Rivers can be an honorable mentioning too) Offensive Rookie: Cam Newton (Other than Andy Dalton and maybe A.J. Green no rookie comes close to what Cam has done so far this season he's passed for over 2,000 yeard already and has 11 TD) Defensive Rookie: Aldon Smith (This was another though one I started to go Von Miller but once again since Smith's team is winning I pick him plus he leads all rookies with 6.5 sacks) Coach of the midseason: Jim Harbaugh (From going 6-10 last season to winning 6 of the first 7 games this season)

LOL you took the words right out of my mouth that's exactly what I was going to say. As for his top 5 QB's I agree with all of them except Cam he's a rookie and still has a long way to go before considering him top 5 or 10 for that matter I agree he should have said Ben or Eli.I agree with every one of his WR and most of his RB's but he could have squeezed either Frank Gore or McFadden in there Fred Jackson's been good too.

Out of all these winless teams playing this Sunday which team do you think will win or has the better chance of winning. The Dolphins go up against the Giants and I do not see the Dolphins winning infact I expect a blowout possibly. I say the same for the Saints and Rams, I would call a close game but with Bradford out they don't have much of a chance. So that leaves the Colts who I actually think has a good shot at winning. They will be in Tennessee but if the Titans play this Sunday the way they played the week before against the Texans then the Colts should come out victorious even without Peyton.

Well I'm glad to hear the Rockets won't be desperate enough to sign a below average big man to a long term deal myself. And getting Nene would be great for us, though I would perfer DeAndre Jordan because he's younger and has more upside and potential not to mention he's from Houston but if we can get Nene like you said Dash we could be a potential 7th or 8th seed in the West. He would bring more offensive to our already explosive offense and give us the big men down low defensively that we desperately needed last season.

Jacoby Jones actually caught a TD pass! It's a new day I just hope we keep it up we've been horrible in the 2nd half of games this season.

Texans OLB Mario Williams Tears Pectoral Muscle
htownborn replied to NomarFachix's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
I'll be damn things are just going from bad to worst for us first Foster and Tate, then Andre, now Mario. I had high hopes for the season this year but this may kill our season. -
Kobe reflects on time with Kwame and Smush
htownborn replied to AboveLegit's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Well Smush Parker did have somethings to say about Kobe back in the day so I can understand him talking about Smush. Kwame on the other hand really didn't need to be mention, what he said is pretty much what alot of people already knew about Kwame. It's already bad enough he's one of the worst #1 overall picks in NBA history. -
Your right maybe he woudn't have scored maybe he would have but thats not really my point. I'm just upset that Schuab doesn't have the balls enough to at least take that chance, hell Sage Rosenfels had more heart than that. Schaub is a good QB and all but he is too scary of a QB at the sametime and makes alot of stupid mistakes. Not taking anything away from the Raiders because they played a hell of a game but I feel we could have won had Schaub been on point today or at least if Vickers caught that pass. Just saying I can accept losing but I can't accept losing like that.
-
Matt Schuab is a [expletive]ing idiot. I can't believe he had all the room in the world to scramble for a TD but instead this stupid mother[expletive]er decides to pass to Jacoby Jones who's caught 1 pass for 9 yards the whole game and who has Micheal Huff all on his back. The Texans deserved to lose this game Lawrence Vickers can't catch and that really didn't make any damn since what Schaub did at the end of the game. I really don't understand why is he so scary to run.
-
No Andre but I think we should win this one. The main things we need to worry about is Darren McFadden and the Raiders defense. Yes I know the Raiders D hasnt been looking so good to start the season giving up nearly 30 points a game but they still have decent defense with good playmakers and if were not careful that could be the game they come out of their shell.

Andre Johnson Expected To Miss Three Weeks
htownborn replied to ChosenOne's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
Sucks that he'll miss some games but I'm not that worried at least its 3 weeks and like fish said AFC South sucks this season so I have faith in our offense that they will hold up well without him for now. That just means more passes to Owen Daniels and more pounding the ball with Foster and Tate if he's healthy. And hopefully Jacoby Jones learns how to catch the ball by Sunday. -
Just bought the game its very smooth compared to last years. I still got to get the hang of posting up though and the stealing and defense seems easier I'm having a tougher time scoring on this game than on 2k11.

Man this was such a crazy game with all the penalties the Texans were getting, good win though we really needed it. The Texans really need to stop with all of these B.S. penalties though or they may not be so lucky next time.
-
This is [expletive]ing ridiculous why did the Texans pick today out of all days to try and break a record for most penalties in a game. I just hope this doesn't come back and bite us in the ass in the second half

I hope he didn't tear nothing I'm holding my breath that it isn't that serious

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4RhYsNPMgU I understand the rating systems and all but some of these ratings are atrocious I don't understand how majority of everyone's rating droped this year yet LeBron's increases. I don't have a problem with him being the highest rated current NBA player because he deserves too, but no way in hell should he be rated a 98 overall especially when the season he had last year was nowhere near as good as the year he had before. LeBron should be a high 96 overall he shouldn't be a point behind the greatest. I aslo think Dirk Nowitzki should be higher than 85 they should have made his rating between 88-92, Gallinari should be at least a 72 aswell as DeRozen, Jason Terry Should should have a overall of at least 79 or 80, Harden and Ibaka should be rated in the high 70's and Wilson Chandler and Stephen Jackson should be rated in the high 70's if 2k is decreasing some players ratings.

Depending on what your looking for in a point guard if your looking for good all around vetern PG then CP3 and D-Will are the guys to look at. If your looking for exciting, young, explosive type scoring PG's with improving all around game then Rose and Westbrook if your looking for just a pure PG with vetern experience then its between Rondo, Nash, and Kidd. To me the best PG is still CP3 because he can get it done on both ends of the floor. Anytime I think of Paul I think of the 07-08 season, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he lead the NBA in assist and steals that season and also lead he's team in scoring if I'm not mistaking. Had it not been for injuries Paul could have better numbers that what he has. And not to forget he has played with a bunch of mediocre players since he came to the league and he is usually a big reason for the Hornets being in the playoff picture. 2nd for me would have to be between Rose or D-Will.

That was a hell of a catch by Nicks these dude is becoming a beast

The gameplay looks much smoother than last year's and I don't understand why so many people are mad over no rookies this year. Honestly I expected that and no rookies have officially signed their NBA contracts yet so it makes sense as to why they put all of these classic teams in this year. And didn't alot of people agree that this was a very weak draft class this year I mean I can understand if they had left last years draft class out of 2k11 but honestly the only rookies I would look forward to play with on 2k12 are Irving, Williams, Kemba, Jimmer, and Knight the rest I could really careless about maybe other than the Morris twins, Kanter, Biyombo, and Vesely other than that I would much rather play with the classic teams. With or without rookies this game will be good and if the lockout ends then we can download the rookies so it isn't a total lost just be patient we have the classic teams to hold us down until that time.

Our offense is looking great as usual, the defense is looking good but the Colts have been shooting themselves in the foot alot this game aswell. Kerry Collins looks like he isn't going to be the answer for the Colts while Peyton is out. If I were them I would be looking to sign Garrard.
