Rockets and Bulls discuss Lee for Asik deal
htownborn replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
The Rockets better not do this trade. Were going to trade one of our best perimeter defenders for a backup center who barely gets PT. Not dissing Asik or anything he looks promising but to trade him for Lee would be making the Bulls better if you ask me. I'd rather us wait tell free agency if thats the case, the Rockets can do way better than that. -

Allen wants to break the record vs. Lakers?
htownborn replied to Real Deal's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
I highly doubt that Reggie will be upset over it. He's actually been giving Ray alot of credit and I think he actually wants to commentate this game for that reason. I gaurentee that Reggie will give Ray a standing ovation as soon as he breaks his record. -
Damn I didn't know he's contract was that big. Yeah I agree maybe they should just wait to the offseason and go after Gasol or Perkins.

I was just wondering who do people think had the better NBA 2K song between The Game and Yung Automatik. IMO both were good so it was kind of hard for me to choose but I like Game's slightly better than Automatik's. Allen wants to break the record vs. Lakers?
htownborn replied to Real Deal's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Yeah, Ray breaks the record against the Lakers in Boston on TNT with Reggie Miller more than likley commentating and watching him break it. Yeah it would only be right for it to happen that way. -
Houston should try and work something out with Golden State for Biedrins or look to Portland for Camby

I don't really listen to R & B now a days but this is a nice song well to me anyway. Its kind of a old song in Texas but still nice none the less it kind of has that 90's R & B feel to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfj9tPNLMM4?fs

2011 Houston Rockets - to compete or rebuild?
htownborn replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
1. Yes, I think they should continue to compete for a playoff spot. The Rockets are a way better team than their record shows and if the Rockets can stay consistant and learn to finish out games they wouldn't have such trouble competing for a spot. 2. At best I see the Rockets being no more than a 7th or 8th seed. The Spurs, Lakers, Thunder, Jazz, Mavs, and Hornets are playing very well right now and I don't see none of them falling any lower than what they are now. As for the last 2 spots even though the Nuggets have been playing decent Melo will more than likely be traded before the deadline so that will slow down Denver some and Portland has injury problems and I see them falling out of the playoff picture unless they make some kind of a trade. 3. At this moment their really isn't no face of the Houston Rockets I mean thats why Morey's trying to get Melo here right? but if I had to choose at the moment I would say Kevin Martin since he's the leading scorer. 4. I don't know this is kind of a tough one. I would love Melo to be a Rocket but do we really want to take a chance on him and he leaves us for New York in the summer and we've pretty much given Denver good talent for free. If we are to get him I hope this team finishes out strong so he will at least consider. And Melo did say early that the Rockets was a team he would sign a contract extension with if he's traded here I hope thats still the case. -
ATL-Josh Smith-He does alot of things good but the one thing he can do that he couldn't do before is finally shot. BOS-Glen Davis-He's been playing well of off the bench for Boston having a carrer year CHAD.J. Augustin-Felton's gone which makes him the number one PG. The Bobcats aren't playing great but D.J has improved his scoring and assist ratio CHIJoakim Noah-Before the injury he was putting up all-star numbers averging a double double a game CLE-Daniel Gibson- He is having a carrere year and has picked his scoring up for the Cavs in a very tough season DAL-Tyson Chandler-He isn't really putting up carrer numbers but he has made an impact for his team DEN-Aaron Afflalo-He has imbraced he's role as a starter better this year and is having a carrer year DET-Charlie Villanueva- He's been playing good minutes coming off of the bench for Detroit GS-Dorell Wright-He has picked he's entire game up now that he has opportunity to show it, he could very well win the MIP award HOU-Kyle Lowry & Chuck Hayes-Lowry has been good at PG for the Rockets while Brooks was out. At one point he was top 5 in steals and dishing the ball out pretty good. As for Hayes he has improved alot from he's free throw shooting to his field goal percentage and has actually been sort of a force for the Rockets down low defensivley IND-Brandon Rush-So far having a carrer year and putting good numbers up off of the bench LAC-Eric Gordon-He's leading the team in scoring and top 10 in scoring in the league LAL-Lamar Odom & Shannon Brown- Odom is another putting up All-Star number averging a double double and Brown has also got his shot on point now. MEM-Mike Conley-He's top 10 in steals and is finally looking like the PG every thought he would be when he was drafted MIA-Big 3-Give the SuperHeat some credit they started out rocky but they have really put it together and are winning MIL-Chris Douglas-Roberts-He's been great off the bench for the Bucks MIN-Kevin Love & Michael Beasley- It was hard just to choice one, both Love and Beas are having carrer years and putting up impressive numbers. NJ-Kris Humphries-He's been a shocker as of late, he's also nearly averging a double double a game NO-Marco Belinelli-He' having a carrer year NY-Raymond Felton-He's putting up All-Star numbers OKC-Russell Westbrook & Serge Ibaka-Russy is another guy who has been putting up All-Star number and Ibaka has inserted hiself in the starting line-up ORL-Brandon Bass-Another guy having a carrer year and has played well at the very limited PF position for the Magic PHI-Jrue Holiday-He's really picked his game up this year nearly averging a double double a game PHO-Hakim Warrick-Been playing real well of off the bench for the Suns POR-Wes Matthews- He's done a great job of filling in for the injured Brandon Roy and taking advatage of his opportunity SAC-Beno Udrih-He's having a carrer year so far SA-Manu Ginobili-really theirs no specific player that has improved for the Spurs but if I had to choice I'd have to say Manu since he's learned how to take over a game and make big shots at the ending of games. TOR-Demar DeRozan- He's scoring has improved a whole lot but he needs to shot better UTA-Paul Millsap-With Boozer gone he has really picked up his game and having a carrer year WAS-Nick Young- He has really came on for the Wizards this season him and Wall will be a good backcourt for years to some

This doesn't make any damn sense the Rockets are playing the way they were early in the season. I mean a couple of nights ago against Portland we had over a 10 point led going into the 4th quater and blew it, tonight we had a 14 point lead at the half and came out with the same result. And why the hell are the Rockets in love with the damn 3 so [expletive]ing much 3-25 are you [expletive]ing serious I mean after you shot ten 3 pointers and only make 2 shouldn't it be time to look for other options IDK like actually attacking the [expletive]ing rim like they did in the first half. I also found it very stupid to take out Hill who was actually having a pretty solid game and Ish Smith who gave the Rockets a spark off of the bench. And I also don't understand why T-Will didn't see no kind of action tonight aswell. I don't know what the problem is but the Rockets need to hurry up and get it right or make a trade soon.

Barnes Suffers Tear of Lateral Meniscus

Damn that does suck its time to make a trade happen. Either that or put your faith in Devin Ebanks off of the bench. -
Grizzles Prepared To Deal Thabeet
htownborn replied to The Regime's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Maybe the Rockets can get in on this I mean sure all Thabett can do is block shots but thats one of the things we really need an inside presence on defense. I'm sure the coaching staff can help work on him with his offensive game and all.
