  1. I felt the Cavs would take Drummond but I think Barnes would be a safer pick and smarter pick . I think Irving and Barnes will be similar to Marshall and Barnes but obviously better since Kyrie is better at creating his own shot. Drummond's to much of a risk and the Cav's best SF is Alonzo Gee who isn't bad but definitely isn't a starter.
  2. Here's a little clip of 2k13 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE-LDQa1Tdo I like the little walk Parker does at :17 and driving and finishing at the rim looks a lot better and easier than it was on 2k12. Other than that it looks the same though
  3. No Scarface seriously I think that would probably be everyone's favorite Pacino movie. I liked The Godfather trilogy, Any Given Sunday, and Carlito's Way too.
  4. LMAO I knew this was going to happen Davis to NO
  5. One more thing I forgot to add and this is the most important thing I want them to improve. Please 2k fix the damn passing it's been pretty bad the last couple of years and didn't get any better this year. Maybe even improvise passing where we can choose the type of passes we can do
  6. Just improve the game play and add more legendary teams. Cut down on the unrealistic blocking and steals, improve defense, and get rid of those cheesy animations especially the one where your player dribbles the ball of off his or his defenders leg. Add classic teams like the 92 Suns, 95 Rockets, 99 Spurs and Knicks, 00 Pacers, 01 Mavs, Raptors and Lakers, and I'd be cool with the game. Other than that I really don't no what more you could add to the game other than technical's and flagrant fouls. Maybe have Chuck, Kenny, and Ernie do talk during halftime but that may not happen.
  7. That would be nice but it's wishful thinking no way we pick before 14th this year. At least you can't get me to believe that after the last 2 seasons.
  8. I think it will probably go to Charlotte or New Orleans neither team has never had a #1 pick. It would be crazy if the Kings win. Imagine a team like Sacramento wins the lottery and they draft Davis to go with Cousins that would be a great front line for years to come. I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington win either.
  9. I agree with everything you said about the coaching situation and that's my point Martin isn't playing good here because he's a product of Adelman's system that's why the T'Wolves was rumored to try and get a deal done with him involved. Now that's not to say he wouldn't be good on anyone else's team other than Adelman's but as you said he clearly plays better when Adelman is calling the shots. I agree somewhat with you about him getting to the line especially about the refs tightening up on some calls like the rip through and jump and pump fouls but at the same time you can blame Kevin Martin for that. He wasn't nowhere near aggressive as he was the year before driving to the goal and drawing fouls and settled for a lot of 3's and long range jumpers this season. I don't know if it was because he lost some confidence or he just wasn't comfortable last year it could be both but if it continues I think it's time for a change of scenery. I agree with you on Austin Rivers I like him but I personally think he's a bit overrated myself a large part because of his name and because of his big shot he hit against N.Carolina. He's a bit one dimension to me, he's a very good scorer and has good one on one skills but he's really not that good of a defender, he's very ball dominate, he has a tendency to take bad shoots and it's hard to determine what position he'll play in the league, he has the body of a PG but plays like a SG. I will say this though if he's available when the Rockets pick at # 14 or # 16 I'd take him. Regardless about how you, me, or anyone think about him he is talented and could be better than what we think in the pro's. Me and you both agree with Waiters and Ross I think there 2 of the most NBA ready players in the draft and I haven't seen much of Tony Wroten but he kind of reminds me of a Tyreke Evans or Rodney Stuckey good size and strength, combo guard, good court vision, etc...
  10. I kind of saw this coming with the way Dragic played at the end of last year. I still prefer Lowry over Dragic but since he came out and said he wants out it just makes it that much easier to trade him plus most of the Rockets management and fans seem to favor Dragic more anyway. I just hope the Rockets aren't still trying to get Gasol because something tells they would be dumb enough to trade Lowry and other assets for Gasol.
  11. It's no question who's the best player today it's hands down LeBron but I think they were pretty close their rookie seasons. Actually I felt Melo had a better rookie season and probably deserved ROY more than LeBron. Statistically speaking Melo did everything better than LeBron apart from steals, blocks, and assist and he lead his team to the playoffs in a tougher conference, granted Melo's team may have been slightly better with adding Andre Miller and Marcus Camby but there teams where equally just as bad the year before. So my question is not so much who's better but more of was Melo robbed from being Rookie of the Year or was it rightfully given to LeBron.
  12. Has anyone seen any of the the videos yet. The graphics look alot better and the gameplay looks smoother. It seems like the game is kind of based of off CBS Football this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPmGXFnh5-8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4UWyNmf3OI
  13. I don't blame him I would be pretty pissed too if I felt my team should be up 3-1 with a chance to close out OKC.
  14. I don't have a problem with players missing shots or dunks/lay ups at all. The part that I have in bold print is the problem I have with this game where players randomly lose the ball for no reason and those cheap blocks. It makes no sense and can easily cost you the game if you play against someone.
  15. I saw it yesterday along with Mosley vs Alvarez. I haven't actually watched a boxing PPV in a while but those 2 matches were pretty good and went to distance. Cotto held his own against Mayweather and even busted his nose.
  16. Live was pretty awful but there's no one trying to defend it lol.
  17. I'm not expecting perfection from no games. Nothings perfect even 2k11 had flaws and thats my favorite basketball game of all time. Ignoring the video I just feel 2k12 has more than it's fair share of flaws than the average basketball game should. It can be fun to play but very frustrating with the bs that happens in the game
  18. Truth be told I'm just not as high on Dragic as a lot of others are. He played well with Lowry out but we went on a 6 game losing streak with him starting (to be fair though he really didn't have no one backing him up at PG) and his style of play is to out of control IMO plus I just prefer Lowry as our starter. As for Martin I think after we traded him his confidence was shot down and he seemed unhappy in Houston the whole season. Also he played terrible this year and even though his value may be garbage I think he's value would be good enough to pull of getting Beasley or a player of his caliber. I feel were not getting anything better than that for Martin even if he played well last season since he's so one dimensional. Plus I think Lee would do good starting for us, he may not put up the points Martin does but he brings in the defense and hustle that Martin lacks and if we can get a Rivers or Ross in the draft it would make it that much better if you ask me. That would be a good idea but if we do a trade with Sacramento and it includes Lowry I fell we might as well just trade Lowry and a pick for Evans or Lowry for Evans straight up since the Kings are supposedly shopping him this off-season and draft either Leonard or Zeller if their available. Tyreke's production hasn't been that good since his rookie season but a lot of that could have to do with how stacked the Kings roster is with young talent. However if we do the Lowry for the Kings 1st round pick trade I wouldn't be totally upset but like you I'm not as big on Drummond myself, I think he will be good but I think he's like a De'Andre Jordan type of player it may take him a couple of years. I'm kind of hesitant on Perry Jones he's very talented with huge upside but he reminds me exactly of Anthony Randolph all the talent and physical tools but no motor. I already said I would like to have Rivers, Leonard, or Zeller. And Moultrie is another guy that looks interesting, he's athletic, good defender, and his post game looks pretty good for a guy coming out of college the problem with him is what will he play PF or C. Were stacked at PF with Scola, Pat-Patt, and not to mention the possibility of Motiejunas coming over next season and were desperate at C but he looks to thin to play C especially for his rookie year.
  19. LOL I know exactly how you feel thats why and I don't even play My Player or C.A.L anymore. This may sound silly but it feels as if the CPU cheats you on purpose so that your opponent can stay close and vice versa especially on My Player. I remember back on 2k11 and even before that there were guys I was killing in 2k by nearly 20 points and I can barley beat those same guys in 2k12 and not so much because there good but because of the bs turnovers and other problems in the game. I don't understand what happened with 2k this year the graphics, presentation, and NBA Greatest mode are amazing but the overall gameplay is unpolished and unreal to me. Just look at this video some of the things that happen in this game is so ridiculous that its funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al5vAQWpqtk
  20. Sign back Courtney Lee, Goran Dragic(If he's cool being the 6th man), and Marcus Camby. And bring in Motiejunas from overseas. We should draft a SG and C at the #14 and #16 spots. The prospects I think we should look at are Austin Rivers, Terrence Ross, Dion Waiters(he could be a reach at #14 and #16 though) Meyers Leonard, and Tyler Zeller Try to trade Kevin Martin in a package deal to Minnesota for Michael Beasley. Lee can take Martin spot and Beasley can be our new starting SF. I know Beasley has attitude problems but he's still talented and is an upgrade at SF.
  21. 2k12 would have been great if it had not been for the bs turnovers when your player randomly lose the ball and the unrealistic blocking in the game. Passing has been an issue in the 2k series for a while too but it's just ridiculous in 2k12. I don't know how good Live will be the last Live I played was Live 09 and I didn't like it very much. I hope Live has improved though so 2k can stop being lazy with their games, just as long as they took care of the Jesus Bynum crap lol
  22. R.I.P Junior if it's true I can't believe he took his own life. My condolences goes out to his family especially his mother. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxGEGTt9yZQ
  23. I never heard of him but from this highlights I think he would be good enough to make the team or at least make our practice squad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zulShxeL1pw It looks like he has a very high motor and that's a good thing for our D. He looks good on ST's to he kinda of remind's me of Bryan Braman Just read his story damn that's bad business but the Texan's showed me that their not bothered with legal issues when they drafted DeVier Posey. And from the story I read he really hasn't gotten into any big trouble other than this incident so i don't think that should be a big deal.
  24. Winners Eagles (I think the biggest winner may be the Eagles I really love the picks of Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, and Vinny Curry for them. These are 3 guys that should hep the Eagles defense right away.) Grade: A Rams (The Rams are another team that I think made good additions to there team. Of course they added my boy Brock then they surprised me by drafting Brian Quick as early as they did back door and took a chance on Janoris Jenkins. I also like the addition of Isiah Pead to help Steven Jackson carry the load in the back field and Trumaine Johnson could be a diamond in the rough.) Grade:B+ The Bucs and Giants are 2 other teams I felt that had really good drafts Losers I really don't have any losers other than the Saints since they couldn't draft until the 3rd round. The Seahawks did reach and took Bruce Irvin at #15 but I'm going to try and not hold that against them since he is considered one of the better pass rushing prospects.
