  1. Damn I wanted to see Kentucky vs UNC for the championship but I'm not surprised that Kansas won today. North Carolina showed that they missed Marshall last game against Ohio but they really needed him today especially Barnes since Marshell gets him many open looks. I got a feeling it will be Kentucky vs Kansas now something just tells me Calipari will get a chance to redeem himself from the 08 collapse.
  2. Well that's business but I do find it funny that our first 3 draft picks from the 06 draft are now gone. I think Daniels will stay though he doesn't cost as much and he's important to our offense.
  3. At first I was kind of angry with this trade but I can understand why it happened. For one Demeco's injury kind of hurt his production last season and since we run a 3-4 defense anyway his production goes down even more. He is way better suited for a 4-3 defense and I find it ironic he's traded to Philly because I though that would have been the best place for him to play other than Houston. We also save money for next year to sign Schuab, Duane Brown, and Connor Barwin who are more important to this team. The salary cap sucks and I really wish we could have kept Mario and Meco but thats business I guess I wish the both of them nothing but the best on their new teams.
  4. Not to be a smartass but Tom Brady was a 6th round pick, Marquis Colston was nearly Mr. Irrelevant in the 7th round, and hell Arian Foster wasn't even drafted and their all pro bowlers. I'm sure we could possibly get good value with those picks and if not you have other rounds just look at what Bilichick did for the Pats with all the picks he has had over the last couple of drafts.
  5. LOL I really didn't expect a win today but I'll take it. This is the hardest I have seen the Rockets fight back into a game this season.
  6. LOL I couldn't believe he actually signed back but I guess he's a loyal dude to that organization. At least Luck will have someone to throw to when the season starts.
  7. I don't really understand this deal much myself. But It's going to be interesting to see who will shot the ball more between Monta and B.Jennings and who will be the go to guy for the Warriors now. I'm guessing Curry but who knows
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF-cLS6VPRE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSnAvhvfniw
  9. Too many to name. T-Mac's 13 points in 35 minutes was insane but I like these moments more since they actually meant something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnIy_NhcDFg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXOts9kaiLQ All of Game 1 of the 1995 Finals vs Orlando was a great moment too.
  10. I'm guessing this means Reggie Wayne is headed back to Miami.
  11. I don't have a source right now but I just saw it on NFL Live. He was traded for 2 third round picks to Chicago. It's crazy him and Jay Cutler back on the same team and they could possibly sign Mario.
  12. Damn that's bad news for the T'Wolves and it might be good news for the Rockets since the T'Wolves were looking like they were playoff bound and could possibly knock us out. Well at least the T'Wolves will have something to look forward to next season and they will be a year better.
  13. It would be crazy if he went to the Saints like his old man but it looks like they will franchise Drew Brees
  14. I'm not surprised by this at all. I like Mario but our defense did very well last year without him. I would like for us to sign him back but that would mean we would have to release some guys from their contracts and some guys will have to take less money which I don't see happening. But even if Mario leaves I'm not to worried Brooks Reed is a beast and will only get better. As for Tate I like him in our back field but he's not as good as Arian is behind our line. Arian has better field vision and is a way better catcher off screens than Tate is.
  15. All of these guys were all-star caliber players until injury's killed their true potential. Penny could have been as good as Magic but injury's hurt his potential as well as Shaq leaving Grant was putting up LeBron type numbers minus the points in Detroit and much like LeBron made a decision to go to Florida but had multiple near career ending injury's while in Orlando. Even though he continued to play after he's injury he was not nearly as good as he was early in his career. McDyess was like Shawn Kemp or Blake Griffin very athletic and a power-dunker. He had one all-star season then the next year had a serious knee injury and was never the same again.
  16. Dwight would be a more athletic Alonzo Mourning IMO had he played in the 90's. No way would he be above Dream or Robinson since he doesn't have the skill-set that these 2 had and he wouldn't be as dominate as Shaq was especially in the late 90's. He could possible be equal to Ewing but even then I think Pat is better, he at least had a reliable mid range game for a big man and he was tougher IMO. Zo is really the only guy I can compare him to both great defensively but had very little offensive game especially in their early years. Dwight is clearly better than Smits and Deke.
  17. Usually in the NBA Draft I say take the best player available because it's not enough rounds like in the NFL but I think it depends on the situation your team is in. If your a young team with a bunch of young talent like say Minnesota, Sacramento, or Golden State I say draft of need because there's already enough talent for your team to be competitive, now you just need depth and good role players which you can find in the draft. If your a team like the Charlotte or New Orleans no doubt take the best talent available for your team because mostly everyone on your team are scrubs anyway.
  18. You can say those calls were jokes but they were the right calls. Now could the refs have let some of those calls go maybe but the NBA has been very fickle with alot of calls this year. But if you are to blame someone I say blame Spo. He knew D-Wade had 5 fouls why continue to play him and risk him getting fouled out.
  19. Their home jersey's aren't that bad but I agree they could have done way better with the away jersey's
  20. My favorite jersey's in the NBA today would have to be the Clippers I like their home, away, and blue throwback jerseys and I also like the all black Miami Uni's and the black T'Wolves jerseys. But I really like these throwback jersey's. http://www.foxboroblog.com/bearcatsblog/images/stories/SteveSmithHawks.jpg http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9rzE9WEB9Ho/TBlY-bStzCI/AAAAAAAABaA/GQFGndTqhsg/s640/cbark+front.jpg http://www.jerseys4wholesale.com/images/NBAjerseyscom/jerseyscom-Sacramento-Kings-55-willams-black.JPG http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/6/215/full/ighkqdigf0vglskm379fst8bl.gif
  21. Seriously I don't see what's wrong with being a little quiet. That's just he's demeanor and personality its nothing wrong with that I mean he can't help how he is. And I have seen Rose smile a lot of times he's just seems like a very serious and determined dude personally I like he's demeanor more than most guys in the league today.
  22. Welcome to the 50 point club Durant. 91 points between KD and Westbrook and a triple double for Ibaka with 11 blocked shots that's insane. It would have been a shame if they had lost this game.
  23. I'm actually surprised Bud is even in this. I never really thought of him as a highlight reel dunker but it will be interesting to watch though. Like many I expect either Shumpert or Williams to win this.
  24. Not really to surprised with Smith going to the Knicks being that he's from Jersey and he gets to play with Melo again. This should be a good signing for the Knicks though especially with the way Lin has been playing and with Melo returning soon.
