Every single thing you're doing right now, every single thing you're thinking about doing, outside the WWE, The Rock has already done it better. -
Do the Nuggets need a superstar to contend?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Real Deal's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
Dallas had less superstars than Miami and beat them, I still think team can beat superstars at the end of the day. The problem we have is playing small ball, Karl liking to play forwards at center (Al Harrington at C is a joke)... and 2 PGs at the same time, which is retarded defensively. We'll see a lot of Andre Miller and Ty at the same time... ugh. And we have pretty talented Cs in Mozgov and Koufos healthy, but not playing. As long as the retarded rotation goes on, we won't be able to be a true team. In other words, the change starts from the coach. -
Breaking News: Yao to Retire
Multi-Billionaire replied to The Regime's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Quite surprising I thought he's gonna recover and try to play again. But his body weight as Real said is a cause of concern. -

Brandon Knight's angry face at the draft
Multi-Billionaire replied to Real Deal's topic in Detroit Pistons Team Forum
For a rookie who never sees millions, no. 3 to no. 8 is quiet significant amount of money to lose, up to $1.5 mil per difference? That's huge. Utah is the smallest market in NBA, it's not like he was dying to get there... and Pistons are top 10 most valuable teams in NBA, with championships and history. And he'd also be competing with Devin Harris for PG spot, it's not all groovy there. It'd be different for veterans who have cashed in $8-10 mil/ above per season... $1.5 mil per season less is okay. But for rookies who is about to get their first paycheck, $1.5 mil per season difference is a lot. It's the money. -
This part confuses me: Given that rule, why would you not take each team's best player? Then Dash took Gordon over Blake from Clippers, Lopez over Williams from Nets confused me even more. Okay my list: Atlanta Hawks: Al Horford Boston Celtics: Rajon Rondo Charlotte Bobcats: none Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose Cleveland Cavaliers: Kyrie Irving Dallas Mavericks: Dirk Nowitzki Denver Nuggets: Danilo Gallinari or Ty Lawson Detroit Pistons: Brandon Knight and Greg Monroe Houston Rockets: none Indiana Pacers: Danny Granger Los Angeles Clippers: Blake Griffin Los Angeles Lakers: Kobe Bryant Memphis Grizzlies: Zach Randoplh Miami Heat: LeBron James Milwaukee Bucks: Andrew Bogut Minnesota Timberwolves: Kevin Love New Jersey Nets: Deron Williams New Orleans Hornets: Chris Paul New York Knicks: Amare Stoudemire or Carmelo Anthony Oklahoma City Thunder: Kevin Durant Orlando Magic: Dwight Howard Philadelphia 76ers: Jrue Holiday and Marresse Speights Phoenix Suns: none Portland Trail Blazers: LaMarcus Aldridge Sacramento Kings: Tyreke Evans San Antonio Spurs: Manu Ginobili Toronto Raptors: Andrea Bargnani and Demar DeRozan Utah Jazz: Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter Washington Wizards: John Wall

Still don't understand. 1.) You want us to be Warriors' GM as per title 2.) Then you want us to view from each of the other 29 teams' perspective "WHAT PLAYERS, FROM EACH TEAM, WOULD YOU CONSIDER TRADING MONTA ELLIS FOR?" So you want us to be the Warriors GM as well as the opposing team's GM. I'm confused now.
-
Just trying to understand this... Basically, you want us to be a Warriors GM with our asset in the market being Monta right? You're asking us to trade Monta while acting in the best interest of the Warriors (you have to if you're the team GM). Obviously, as the Warriors GM, we'd ask for the other team's best player... so it's no different than "Name best player on each team". If I was the Warriors GM, I'd want to trade Reggie Jackson for LeBron James (we'd prefer not to use Monta to get LeBron)... but you said "even though Miami wouldn't" but hey "list him anyway, even if salaries don't match (hey, you're a GM...you could always put one together, right?" You don't have to have Monta, even if you put one of their D-League players as our trading chip, we as "Warriors GMs" here would seek the maximum value in return: we want LeBron (if the trading partner is Miami). If Magic, Dwight Howard. If Hornets, CP3. If Lakers, Kobe Bryant. If Wolves, Kevin Love. So really, it's no different than "Name best player on each team". Look at Dash's answer above, it's pretty much naming the best player on each team. Why go through all the hassle of "you're the Warriors GM, and you're trading Monta Ellis" when it's "Name best player on each team". Is it me or is it you? lol

Flash, you'll love this: A bit impure in the middle, but is still dope... when he gets proper equipment he gonna be world class DJ

Hey guys, If you guys like dance music, check out Mole's mashups on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Mol3lectroHouse One of hit hits: His music is unlike any dance music I'd heard before. Spread good word to your DJ friends, use em tracks in your clubs, let the world enjoy true dance. Please try. Mole (Robert Farkas) is 18 yr old from Hungary. He makes his music on his comp and mouse on his hobby alone... O___0 but kid makes better music than 80-90% DJs who actually make a living out of their CDs and link downloads. His talent deserves world exposure. This mash thing is totally new genre. Mole lacks equipment and all... and you can hear from the tracks there are some impurities in the sound (e.g. Miami Pong Ibiza), it's a shame. But make no mistake, the talent is unmistakable among the glitches. If I was a music producer, I'd be in Hungary already by now (looking at my investment lol) and get his all things he needs for his music. Basically, from a pretty naive standpoint, let's dance goers all play Mole (we'd play the tracks non stop once we try anyway) and the more people use his tracks, he'll get the world recognition/ fame he deserves, he gets the essential equipment to produce even better beats, and we all benefit. :-) Look for his hits: - If I had a Freak OFFICIAL (Mole MEGA mashup) - Miami Pong Ibiza ft. FLUOR & LMFAO (Mole Mashup) - Sofi on Happy Land ft. Daft Punk [MOLE Mashup] - Partysquad vs. Uppermost - Sorry System (Mole mashup) - Kevin Rudolf ft Lil Wayne vs. Laura Kidd - Give U Rock (Mole mashup) Thank you, and enjoy :-)

Is a true PF the answer for the Atlanta Hawks?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Real Deal's topic in Atlanta Hawks Team Forum
They already have a true PF and his name is Horford. All they need is a true C and so Horford can slide to PF. Never been a fan of Smith's game... he's too slow to be a SF... and he doesn't really have post game to be a true PF. I don't think his team can contend if he's the 2nd guy. He has to accept a Jason Terry role... he'd bring great energy and contribution off the bench. -
Chinese is the most spoken language in the world (in terms of number of people). But English is the more universally acceptable, even among chinese race that don't speak chinese like me, e.g. when they live in western countries, europe, or even Asia itself like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. Better learn Chinese, then French, and then Spanish. Just don't have the time

I was on Friendster back then lol Unless Google has a must-have feature that FB doesn't, I don't think 500 million users will switch base. And Zuckerberg thinks steps ahead to ensure FB is still the best... Gmail is fantastic though. I intend to keep FB as social networking site and Gmail as my e-mail system. Rather than war, they probably should collaborate together to form the most indestructible social network force ever... think to collaborate the FB and Gmail (like if you receive e-mail on Google, then you receive a message on FB letting you know, vice versa).

Rudy Fernandez Traded To Dallas
Multi-Billionaire replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
Rudy had games where he showed potential that he can be a future star. He can finish around the rim, he can shoot, he can create for teammates, he can go at the teeth of defense and disrupt it only few NBA players can. Sun Yue? Never did anything in NBA, never showed he belongs/ proves to be a rotation player, let alone showed signs of being a star. -
I love this quote by him: "I hold myself to such a high standard that the expectations that a lot of people put on me, I try to EXCEED those". It makes great sense. The problem with a lot of players/ people trying to "live up to expectations" is it: they try to LIVE up to expectations, instead of trying to EXCEED them. Basically, if you focus on LIVing up to your expectations, because you have a good chance of settling below them. But if you focus on EXCEEDing your expectations, you have a good chance of meeting your expectations.

Rudy Fernandez Traded To Dallas
Multi-Billionaire replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
Rudy definitely showed flashes he can be this dynamic scorer. I think the worry about inconsistent playing time affected his play. He can be a catch and shoot guy, he can make plays for others, and if he really develops he can create havoc in opponent's defense the way Ginobili does. I think he needs security/ guarantee about playing time first before "deciding" he's gonna play right. He could be a big steal for Mavs. -
I've wanted him on the Nugs for so long... He just has very very long arms on that tall body... someone said he should be compared to Bill Russell defensively, I think it's not really a reach. He can be the best defender in the L for the next decade, pulling rebounds and blocking shots, as long as he doesn't get hurt. And if he can be that, he doesn't need to worry about the offense... few can stop him if he decides to catch lob passes anyway.

Yahoo: Timberwolves will fire Kurt Rambis
Multi-Billionaire replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
I agree with this move, Rambis is just not a good head coach. Many guys like Del Harris, Marc Iavaroni, Terry Stotts make excellent assistant coaches, but they suck as head coaches. Even if Rambis was an assistant to Phil Jackson for 100 years, I doubt he'd fully grasp the concept of triangle offense. It's complicated enough for students to learn, and when the teacher does not really understand it either, it's chaos. Guy needs to get away from triangle, finds his own style if he wants to be successful.
