  1. "Life will pay any price you ask of it." I want $2 million by this year's Christmas.
  2. ^Nuggets want Favors more than they do Lopez... the talk is who is to be included in the Favors package.
  3. ^Hey man glad to see you back, if you have any question, just post here or shoot me a PM. Good to have you on the site again Thanks for showing interest. 16.) You have to focus on what you WANT, not what you don't want We tend to focus on the things that we don't want. The following are what unsuccessful people habitually do: "I don't want to be poor." "I am afraid of losing her. What should I do?" "I don't want to screw up at this job interview." "I don't want to be late." Law of Attraction says you attract what you're focusing on and it's EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE GONNA GET. Instead, try to say the opposite and find what you WANT (what successful people habitually do): "I want to be rich." "I will rebuild our relationship and get in her good graces." "I want to excel at this job interview." "I will show up early." Focus on what you WANT, it's what successful people habitually do. 17.) You must take 100% responsibility for your life Jack Canfield says it all: "EVERYTHING in your life, you are creating it/ you have created it. In other words, you're participating in creating it or allowing it to continue. You have to give up all the blaming." We tend to blame other people and/ or situations that we think are the cause of our failure(s) or shortcoming(s): "I cannot focus because my neighbor likes to irritate me and therefore my productivity at work declines" "I grew up in poor environment, I will never be rich." "It rained so I decided to not to go to job interview and found out they're no longer interested in me. I hate it when it happens. Why don't people understand? When it rains it's hard to go anywhere." If you want to be successful, you have to give up ALL the blaming, complaining and excuses. ALL OF IT. You have to be in charge of your own destiny because you CAN control you... instead of depending on outside factors such as other people/ situation that you CANNOT control. As long as blaming, complaining, and excuses are still a part of your life, you will NEVER ever reach any financial success/ any other success(es).
  4. ^How did BC not score Beasley in a Bosh trade? Instead of 2 first round picks?
  5. I'm all for Lopez and Favors to Denver... but I don't think Melo will agree to go to a team that's decimated. C - Troy Murphy (lol) PF - Kris Humphries (lol) SF - Carmelo Anthony SG - Terrence Williams PG - Devin Harris Unless the Nets can convince Melo they will score a free agent center next summer, build through draft picks or trade Murphy's expiring now for a decent C. Because Terrence Harris and Devin Harris are pretty good... and their bench players are pretty good too in Morrow, Farmar, and Outlaw.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqs0Zf_TJ2c Video: Amar'e Stoudemire recognizes Blake Griffin's dunking greatness Moments later, while Stoudemire was at the line, the Knicks star acknowledged Griffin's posterization with a knowing glance of respect.
  7. Blake Griffin is so awesome that you can't help but feel bad for Taylor Griffin. How come all the awesomeness goes into Blake and not his brother?
  8. Is it safe to say that Griffin is untouchable now? Not even for Kobe, Wade, LeBron. The only player I see Clippers trading him is if it's for KD (age reason).
  9. I want some Griffin jam on my bread please. Even the characters in NBA Live are jealous they can't dunk like that.
  10. That's karma for the 30 footer with 13 secs left in the last game. Didn't watch the entire game, but seen some Favors and boy he was sexy, he didn't force anything. I can see that mojo and awesomeness he's been hiding within himself. I hope we trade for him.
  11. He's a very good passer that's for sure. I think he's a very smart player and is not trying to force things... he's playing collected and composed so far. I like it. I think he will settle as a role player this year, then try to take a bigger role in his 2nd/ 3rd year.
  12. I thought you're gonna say "he hasn't ate (eaten) fast food".
  13. Most surprising: Shelden Williams... guy can really rebound the ball, and catch the ball... he grabbed 16 rebounds in limited minutes in opening game, and 13 rebounds the next. Too bad he's playing for George Karl, who gives his minutes to Al Harrington instead because for the simple fact Al can score... But an little known fact is Shelden can actually score. He can really drain those 15-20 footers with consistency... in fact, I feel like he has a better shot than Nene, who's pretty good. He also has pretty good post moves.... in addition he's a pretty good post defender, and he can block some shots weak side or not. If Shelden plays 25 mins a night consistently, I'm sure he can average 9 pts and 9 rebounds. Honorable mention: Gary Forbes Most disappointing: Chauncey Billups... this guy is so intent on living to his name, Mr. Big Shot that he shoots a three on 1-on-4 possession in transition with 18 secs still in the shotclock, or like in the Portland game, a 30 footer with 13 secs left. Most veterans, especially those so-called "leaders" get wiser but I swear Billups gets unglued as he ages. Honorable mention: Nene, he can be great, but he settles to be average as always. Ty Lawson, mostly because he's not forcing anything, and trying his best to play within the system, but you figure he has to start being aggressive 10 games into the season and he has not.
  14. ^Actually we had AT LEAST 9 secs when the mother[expletive]er decides to pull up a 30 footer.
  15. We took too many perimeter shots... but it's understandable when we have a passive big man like Nene. I've said it, when supposed leaders and aged veterans get better as they age like fine wine, Billups is getting crazier. I don't know why the [expletive] he did that. Mother[expletive]er is crazy, I was getting excited we had 13 secs to operate, and he did that...??? My goodness, if that kind of play doesn't scream, "TRADE ME" I don't know what that is. It seems like he wanted us to lose.
  16. This Matthews guy has been killing us since last season... that was like 3 3s in less than a min. That was a delicious dish from Melo to Nene, #1 in Sportscenter for sure.
  17. I'm sure all teams with the exception of the 76ers would say yes. If the Cavs say no to LeBron because of "hurt feelings", they're stupider than I thought they are as an organization.
  18. I do think at his peak he might be an All Star. But franchise player? No imo.
  19. He's still a gym rat, but "slow down" in the sense that he no longer eats, sleeps and drinks basketball like he used to. The alone Kobe (without wife and family) was just absolutely about basketball. His life was basketball and nothing else. When his wife came into his life, a part of him (no matter small or big) goes to her... and now that they have children, a big part of his life is about his family. It's no longer just about basketball. Does he work out like crazy? Yes, but no longer obsessed or seemingly addicted/ high on the game. Because AAA to Kobe is = Dumars to MJ. Hardest to score against. That said, they have one thing in common: they're quite easily the two hardest workers in the NBA.
  20. ^They have one thing in common... their work ethic is just EXTRAordinary and stands out among the rest of the NBA, possibly all sports
