... and get two players to face each other one on one in an NBA game, who would you watch? I think Kobe Bryant vs. Michael Jordan in their primes would be fun to watch. Then Shawn Kemp vs. Amare Stoudemire... high flying POWER dunks Vince Carter (pre-injury in Toronto) vs. LeBron James vs. Dominique Wilkins... dunk fest Allen Iverson vs. Nate Archibald vs. Isiah Thomas... need for speed Karl Malone (MVP season) vs. Tim Duncan (MVP season) Dennis Rodman vs. Ron Artest (psycho, "I would not let my own son score on me" defense time) Dennis Rodman vs. Ben Wallace (nobody else would get the rebound)

Grades are in! NBA Summer Report Card
Multi-Billionaire replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
You will have to give us Nuggets a A+ once we trade Melo for Derrick Favors... beast among puppies... he will be so beast, Devin Harris will be considered a throw in. And this will be known as the "Derrick Favors" trade, not "Melo" trade. -
In my 7 years here in Australia, I've never seen a penny. The smallest value here is a nickel, which is accepted in vending machines.

[Completed] NBA's greatest passer
Multi-Billionaire replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Easy... John Stockton People say Magic is the best passer because they're in awe of Magic's height and the fact he revolutionized the position... Magic was the best PG but he wasn't the best passer. If I had to pick someone to make a pass through a sea of defenders, bounce or straight laser pass, I'd take Stock over Magic any day. -

Quarterfinals: USA vs. Russia

Billups is gonna chuck it all season long... with Melo gone? My goodness, I was smh when he pulled up 1 on 3... -
I would too. But right now? Rose/ Boozer as 1st or 2nd option is not going to cut it... they lack the true scorer. Melo is too perfect for this team. That said, if Nuggets trade Melo to Bulls, with or without Noah in the deal, I'll cry. I love Noah, but not for Melo. Trade Melo to Nets and leave us Nugs fans in peace!!!

Beat her up!!! -
Give me a prime Tim Duncan over a prime Kobe any time. Tim drops 25 ppg, 15 rpg, 3 bpg... that's domination right there. Not to mention he's pretty clutch. Without Derek Fisher's 0.4, we'd be talking about the shot before Duncan hit over Shaq while falling to the floor... and the Spurs would probably have beaten the 2004 Pistons.

35% and he should be proud and I'll tip my hat to him. -
Na I mean international football team from Europe, idiota.

In the end, 4-1 Argentina... some dude I don't know scored Argentina's last goal lol... Llorentte scored 1 for Spain. The first 2 goals were assisted by Tevez on breakaway... the first was a scoop by Messi and the second was a sharp angle (that had to be about 160 degree) left kick by Higuain... third was a mistake by keeper and Tevez chased the ball and put it in. [expletive] I should have bet!!
-
They have Villa, Pique, Iniesta? Llorentte (scored 1 goal)... Argentina have Messi, Higuain, Tevez, Di Maria, I'm surprised the big names actually play. [expletive] I should have put a bet on this... I know I'd have put on the SOuth American over the smelly Europeans lol jk... Spain is my fave European club
-
Dude Spain doesn't have Argentina's explosiveness... they're super solid but they rely on the crispness of their passing waiting until there's a breakdown on the opponent's defense... just play solid, steady defense against Spain, and they can only score 1-2 goals as they don't have a lot of finishers aside of Villa and relying a lot on free kicks. But if you have a lot of breakdowns, Spain can score 4-5 goals on you. If you play steady, you shouldn't give too many goals to Spain. But Spain cannot contain Argentina's explosive breakaway...
-
When does this begin?
-
Wowww... this should have been the World Cup Final... I know Argentina would have whooped Spain... 3-0 Argentina so far in the first 43 mins.. Tevez with 1 goal and 2 assists... to Messi and Higuain... Villa hit the bar twice. Spain relying on free kicks...

What is your biggest sin?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Multi-Billionaire's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Everyone got a sin unless you're an angel... -
^He got plenty of help from Vernon Mad Max Maxwell (13.8 ppg), Otis Thorpe (11.3 ppg, 9.9 rpg), Horry (11.7 ppg), Smith (10.8 ppg, 44.7 3PT%), Cassell (9.4 ppg), Elie (5.8 ppg). Haha the rookie Cassell played at the end of NBA Finals games and buried the Knicks in Game 3 in the final minute with an and 1 lay up and a 3. Rockets had been without a basket for 10 mins in that quarter until that and 1 lay up. Without him, Rockets probably would have gone down 1-2 and lost the series. Houston won in 7 games. In 1995, Elie had his clutch moment with that corner 3 and that famous kiss blow, they won the Game 7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWGuUwjS4Pc Give me the guys who can play in the clutch in the playoffs, guys like Derek Fisher, Horry, Cassell, over guys who average many points but disappear in the clutch in the playoffs. These guys helped Olajuwon a lot. What I meant is Drexler was still in his prime as evidenced by him being selected as the West starting SG in 1996 in San Antonio. Kidd's only edge was he's the superior defender, but it could be argued that Nash passed as well if not better, he had more options at the end of games because of his ability to score or pass at a high level. He had two swords. JKidd could only pass and opponents dared him to shoot, and he only had one sword. Nash was also more aggressive in attacking the rim, he had this move where he went in then did a turnaround jumpshot and if you foul him he's a career 90+% FT shooter. Besides if you have Shaq, Duncan, LeBron, Kobe in their prime, all a First Team defensive team, on the same team, you can afford to have a weak link defensively.

... so far in your life? Me, I stole my mom's money and items (like comic book and toys from guys who sell it on the street) when I was a kid... and my mom caught me guilt struck, I never did it again. But biggest sin would probably be experimenting with some fish I caught from the river (they're little fish around 1inch) putting them in freezer for 1 hr... the water didn't freeze (they lie at the bottom side way and after I put it in the room to match the temperature, they became normal and healthy again... then... I put in boiling water. They jumped and died. This was my biggest sin... I was maybe 9-10 yrs old.
