Which artists/bands do you hate the most?
Multi-Billionaire replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Music Forum
I agree with you Rihanna is annoying... but not even her annoying voice can blemish Guetta's mix -
I have a question, are you loyal being a fan of your aging star... aka players who were superstars in their prime but at present is showing decline because of age... e.g. Iverson, Duncan, Garnett, Kobe... Do you stay loyal or do you constantly look for another young superstar who you can become fan of? I am a team fan, not a player fan, so wouldn't know how this feels... so am just curious.

Lakers interested in Jeff Van Gundy

^Kurt won the first 10 games or so, and then they played .500 ball the rest of the year. -
It seems like everytime we closed in, the Heat made a 10-2 run. It happened like 3 times. What impressed me is Gallo's ability to go to the line again... this time 12 attempts in just 31 minutes. He's gone to the line 40 times in the last 3 games. Sad to see Afflalo reinjured his hamstring... hope he can recover in time for playoffs. We won first 2 games on our 4 road trip before losing the last 2 to Magic and Heat. But all of our losses since trade have been by small margin and they're all competitive. I'm happy

Both teams on second game of back to back... good thing Heat were in Atlanta... we were in Orlando, closer to Miami. Real test for us.

Rarely see Melo struggle like this. He had horrible shooting nights as a Nugget, but always managed double digit pts at least. Six points is just horrible. Knick fans will find out what I mean by smiling at a wrong time... at times when his team is losing he still smiles. I know it's his habit, but it doesn't project sense of urgency to his teammates.

Ty defended that 3 by Nelson well, but it was better offense. Tough luck, Felton rolled his ankle with 20 secs to go. It was tough loss, but I wouldn't mind having every loss in the season like this, they had to fight hard for their points and not many players can drain that tough shot like Jameer did. Gallo may be a better version of Maggette (in terms of going to the line)... he took 28 FTs in the last 2 games now.

Stream sucked... all I know someone on Magic nailed a 3 to win it... it was 82-82 with 5 secs to go. Disappointed for us who fought back and tied the game at 82... but we still played some very solid D.

Last Movie You Saw and Rate It

I watched Adventureland and it's a fun movie... 8/10. Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page are fun to watch. Page is sexy -
WCF rematch, Lakers? Anyway, we've won 3 consecutive road games (amazing, given our poor road record) by an average of 15.0 points, all against winning teams (only Phoenix is .500, which makes this even more amazing)... I'm just in awe (of our D), but we haven't faced adversity yet... Perhaps I should really stop saying "Melo can play D if he wants to"... and join everybody else who says he can't.

I'm tipping my hat for my team for this defense... Rotation is best I've seen since I became a Nug fan. This is Boston Celtics stuff.

Denver at New Orleans
Multi-Billionaire replied to Real Deal's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
^I am not to be honest... I didn't think we'd go 8-2... but I thought we'd still play above .500 ball for sure. Main reason I believed that is because we have: - Ty... 3 straight games with 10 or more assists... I had no doubt (okay maybe a little) he can start right away... but I know he had a starter ability material... him dishing these many assists and running and pushing the offense is the biggest reason why our offense is great - Nene... he's just a beast now he's given a chance to touch the ball more I didn't think Felton would be happy coming off the bench... but he is contributing very solidly now. Chanlder has ups and downs but more ups... What I didn't see coming is we played above average defense... everyone hustling and communicating well on D. We're doing this without Gallo and Afflalo... --- Hoping this is just no hot run fluke... this new team has not faced adversity yet, it's to be seen how they handle adversity. -
What are some good horror movies?

"Let Me In" is nice... I find "Orphan" pretty good... I thought it was going to be the same as "Case 39" but it is much better -
Is Hansbrough beginning to blossom?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Dash's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
There's more and more whites balling in the L... Kevin Love, him, Bogut, Nash, Nowitzki, Gallo, Kaman, Dragic, Omer Asik, Semih Erden, Turkoglu, Manu Ginobili, Bargnani. I mean these guys play as if they're blacks, esp Gallo. NBA is no more black dominant. -
What happened to Trevor Ariza?
Multi-Billionaire replied to The Regime's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
He's a natural born role player... He's just not very good off the dribble, can't create anything, can't shoot off dribble, can't finish off dribble in traffic... hardly a star in the making. I'd take Landry Fields over him. Coming from me, who hates Landry, it's a big statement. Trevor seems to be at his peak, Landry can still grow. -
No comment on Kobe's ankle? I want to know how Lakers fans take Kobe's injury... honestly I don't want Kobe to go out for season... I want to see them with a healthy Kobe dethroned.

We're playing great... the first half was disappointing, we allowed 60 pts. But we bounced right back in the 3rd quarter with only 14 pts allowed. Ty Lawson has been great pushing the ball on offense, back to back 11 assist games. Nene has been active and we need him to be this way, everyone touching the ball, and everyone contributing on defense. Felton keeps playing great off the bench and is not complaining. This has been a dream.

Now at leasy you feel justified for doing it instead of guilty lol -
6-2 since trade, we've been playing a lot better D since Melo left. Ty with 20 and 11. Nene with 22 pts following the 25 and 14 he put against Clips... I still can't believe his career high is only 28 pts.
-
He's super clutch, this would have been his 3rd game winner this season had that one vs. Spurs counted. With him, Knicks can play with swagger down the stretch... the more he makes these shots, the less likely he's ever going to miss. As

Are you pro-Lebron or anti-Lebron?
Multi-Billionaire replied to YugoRocketsFan's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
I've been more pro LeBron than neutral. Unlike most people, I am fine with "The Decision", I see nothing wrong with it. It's his name, it's his status as big star and he used it to draw high ratings for charity purposes. Woj's bashing him in his every yahoo article doesn't change my mind... I think he earned the right to be cocky. I believe some people are born humble like Duncan, Rose, but some people intentionally become cocky to retain their swagger... or they risk losing it. I'm fine with him being cocky because he backs it up... -
Are you pro-Kobe or anti-Kobe?
Multi-Billionaire replied to Legacy's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I've learned to respect his swagger, focus, hardwork, and killer instinct... I only hate him when Lakers are winning against Nuggets and he is like, shaking his head, "uh oh, I knew the outcome before the game started, you can't beat me, you can't beat the Lakers". That's only time I HATTTTEEEEE him... but other than that, against other teams, I am inspired to copy his swagger, focus, hardwork, killer instinct and apply it on my financial world
