  1. I don't know about this, it's not like we need another wing scorer, esp if we resign Kleiza. We don't need another facilitator, Billups, J.R., Nene, Melo, can pass and this team is unselfish. There's no real aspect of Hill's game that we really need although he'd be nice for say a veteran minimum. Priority is, if it's up to me, to sign a big man who can rebound... damn Nuggets!
  2. ^Are you from Australia? Too bad Ingles wasn't drafted... he has potential.
  3. No wonder he's going to be a headcase Individually though, AI is a great player to look up to. Individually.
  4. - Off season and RealGM, ESPN, SI, every NBA site has the same headline story for 1-2 weeks... no trades, July August September are hell I'm lucky I'm getting 2K9 soon, and definitely 2K10 when it comes out. But October is like bloom, start of training camp, pre-season, etc. - Haha I agree with Viral, slow comp but I won't kick babies in the face though - When Nuggets passed on a draft pick "who's not ready to contribute", we passed on Chalmers last season, passed Blair when we desperately need rebounding and assurance if Birdman leaves. - Bikeless like now
  5. It depends though... at what stage of your career... Gortat is still young so he wants to cash in. Andersen turned his career and life around in Denver (rehabilitate there) and would definitely prefer Denver over other teams unless Denver offers $4 mil, and another offers $9 mil. But I believe if the offer difference is insignificant like $0.5 - 1.5 mil, Andersen will choose Nuggets. With Andersen it's about loyalty. Millsap will also want money. If me, I'd want money definitely.
  6. Cool thanks Real, don't really understand the terms but does it mean it will only be like this for a few days and the problem is gone?
  7. How do you feel about the whole Rubio thing? Hopeful? Annoyed? Sick? Excited? I'd buy Rubio Wolves uniform... or maybe not lol (at least until they change)
  8. Someone has to start from somewhere... he will be a very solid defender like Mutombo and he's very underrated offensively. Guy can actually run and catch passes. Learn how to position himself better, plus he has the unteachable height and he doesn't back down like Shawn Bradley. He's undersized and his arms are on the short side. He's athletic yes, but so was Joe Smith, who's another undersized face the rim PF. At least his comparison Boozer has post moves. Griffin's post game is very raw.
  9. In this economy $7 mil is a lot for a 13 ppg player who does little else but score. And the Pacers are not contending for championships... it's a no brainer to let him go.
  10. Can he really block shots and rebound? Sounds better... if $1-3 mil, it's acceptable but above, it'd be overpaying considering we have to resign Birdman, and he'll command a lot imo
  11. ^If both command the same money, as a Laker fan who would you prefer? Ron or Ariza?
  12. At this point, he's probably the second most cancerous player after Zach Randolph. There's an article saying Pistons lost a lot of games on Sundays, because what the players did on the night before... usually parties. That's what AI did when he was in Denver, and young players like Melo and J.R. had too much respect for AI to decline to his parties... Contenders don't want him, I think his career is done. JKidd on the other hand still commands a lot of interests and deservedly so, he has a lot to offer as a starter, possibly a backup and definitely a teacher to "the next PG".
  13. I rarely do that, but even as I didn't, I now can access the forum just fine. Usually evening time, is good, but morning is when I see that message by RD... and can't go to the forum until night time.
  14. Hedo, then Artest, although I'd like a big man like Gortat.
  15. 1) Clippers - Blake Griffin (4) 2) Grizzlies - Hasheem Thabeet (9) 3) Thunder - James Harden (8) 4) Kings - Tyreke Evans (7) 5) Timberwolves - Ricky Rubio (6) 6) Timberwolves - Jonny Flynn (3) 7) Warriors - Stephen Curry (5) 8) Knicks - Jordan Hill (1) 9) Raptors - DeMar DeRozan (10) 10) Bucks - Brandon Jennings (2) I don't understand why a lot of people have Thabeet as a bust.
  16. If it's confirmed he will miss most of next season and if I was the Rockets owner, I'd rebuild the Rockets, no doubt. It's too unfair for the Rockets fanbase, too unfair for myself as the owner to count on franchise players who are injury prone. Trade them, rebuild from scratch. Of course, with the idea to rebuild quickly back to contending again. Have a franchise player you can count on for a full season.
  17. Maybe I need to watch more CV games, but from what I've seen so far, he's the American dictionary for "Radmanovic". Soft... shot chucker... doesn't like to crash the boards, doesn't like to hustle... etc. It's good he's gone a season under Scott Skiles, so it should change some things from him, but I'm not sold on him.
  18. I bookmark "www.otrbasketball.com/forums" and sometimes I'm led to this forum but for the past three days since this site is created, I am still often led to the message Real Deal posted after the site was hacked: So I closed the window, and tried again, still the same page, then tried just "otrforums.com" and still the same. I don't want to see the message, I just want to go to this forum. But there's no link, nothing is it just me, or does it happen to anyone else?
  19. Too bad you will be missed just don't let ego get in the way, you know where to come back to when you want to post again well enjoy your time off
  20. There's no age limitation to posting on message boards... there're lots of 40-50 year olds still posting on Bulls, Knicks forums on RealGM and this Nuggets forum.
  21. Okay right here right now... who do you think will Rubio play for this upcoming season? Knicks? Wolves? Spain? Some other team? If an NBA team, who will he get traded for?
