-
lulz i'm like 15-2 against you since madden 06!!!!!

I started playing COD4 for the first time in forever like three days ago and it got me hooked again. Don't know if I'll get MW2, but probably since my friends will.
-
Anyone who's ever played Madden in their life can beat the CPU haha. It's about how you can take on an actual opponent on Live.

Five time all-star, four time silver slugger, and three time gold glove.

If he can hit better at his home park, then more power to him. If he bats for nearly .400 in back to back seasons at home, then that's good for him. Who cares if he hits in a hitter's park? He's a great batter regardless.
-
Wow comparing that catch to Wise's? Absolutely not. Matthews took two steps to climb the wall, about 10 feet tall. Matthews' catch was the play of the decade thus far.
-
They are substantially different, but does it make him a bad player that he batted nearly .400 at home... TWICE?? Absolutely not.
-
omg Pujols is batting .304 on the road, he [expletive]ing sucks. A-Rod is batting under .300 on the road, he sucks Berkman is way under .300, he should be in AAA Miguel Cabrera is under .300, he sucks Helton isn't batting .300 for his CAREER on the road. Regardless of where you play, batting .300 at anytime in your career is great. Doing it your entire career is even better.

Touche.

No, but that doesn't make the play any more difficult to complete. If it's in the first inning in a blowout, or the ninth inning of a perfect game, the situation doesn't make the catch any more difficult.
-
Like I said a spectacular play is a jaw dropping play that I've never seen before. I've seen someone rob a home run before, multiple times. It happens daily if you watch Baseball Tonight.
-
I understand that, and I agree that it was a great catch that saved the perfect game, but it just wasn't spectacular like you said it was.
-
I heard you can only to 2 vs the CPU on live? It'd be sick if its 5v5 though.
-
This new one looks sick!

Classic moments in baseball history? Hahahahaha wow. You won't even remember his name in a week and it was a CLASSIC MOMENT? ha A classic moment is Ruth calling his shot, Gehrig's speech, DiMaggio's reaching 56 games, Yastrzemski's home run, Bill Mazeroski's walk off to win the World Series, to name just a few. Not some no name making a good catch in center field.
-
Yeah it was a great play, but my jaw didn't drop at all when I saw it. If it happens in the 5th inning like you said, it's #1 at the very best, #2 on a normal day. The plays I mention are all #1 for sure unless there's like a walk off grand slam or something to that nature. Regardless it was an excellently pitched game by Buehrle, and he's gonna be treating his team to something very expensive. In his no-hitter he bought everyone on the team watches, I wonder what he's going to do now.

There have been greater plays THIS MONTH than this play, so why are you calling it the play of the year? When I think of a play being unbelievable, I'm thinking of a great play that's so unorthodox, that you'll never see something like it again. Something like kicking the ball into a double play, something like tossing the ball behind your back into a boom boom play at first, something like a no look toss to second, then a barehand throw to first do turn the double play. Everything like that, has happened in the last month. If I want to see a home run robbing catch, I'll just watch tomorrow's version of sports center to see someone like Torii Hunter do it. But like I said, it was a great catch, but not anything unbelievable.
-
A home run robbing catch? Considering Denard Span did it yesterday... I'd say pretty often.
-
It was a good catch, yes, but it certainly wasn't unbelievable or anything super special. It saved the perfect game, yes, but out of context it'd only be #2 or #3 for the day's top 10 plays.
-
There's no for sure way to know, but it's somewhat obvious he didn't get those numbers by eating his Wheaties.
-
You can't honestly look at those numbers, and say, "Well he must have worked REALLY EFFING HARD in that off season!"
-
Alright, so you don't think these home run stats are a little artificial? 10 23 26 57 28 26 17 Nothing wrong with that, right?
