8th grade I got a D, 9th grade got a D, and 10th grade got a C or B, not sure which. 8th grade obviously doesn't count toward gpa, and whatever my sophomore grade was impacted toward my cumulative GPA for my sophomore AND freshman year. It essentially replaced my bad grade

failing and retaking the class pretty much go hand in hand, but I guess if you wanna be right, they aren't technically the same thing.

My cumulative gpa is 2.8, this years was 3.18. And if my gpa is worthless because of the school, like you said, I guess nobody in my school's going to college? btw again, failing a math class means below a 70%, just like a foreign language. I've never technically failed a class (grade<59), just retaken it.
