One on one? Sure, advantage marine. But out of 1120 shots, you don't think it's possible for a Brit to get a headshot? What about in 20 seconds, with 1100 shots, 20 more seconds, 1080 shots, etc... That's even giving the marine one kill per second, which is a pretty favorable ratio.

Team game? Sure. With that ratio, the Marine would obviously lose, but that's an evenly spreadout ratio for the entire "team." If one Marine would obviously lose against 1120, then the next Marine, same skills and everything, would "obviously" lose against the next 1120. And so on and so fourth. So, the British army would "obviously" wipe out the Marines.

If the ratio is 1120:1, it's just straight up not thinking logically to assume the British were to get surrounded.
