Yeah, but a couple of band members went on and released solo albums.
-
Editors, Muse, Modest Mouse, and a couple jam bands are my favorite bands out there right now. I'm not sure what the status with Radiohead is, but they released an album a couple years ago, and they're probably my favorite band of all time.
-
Even though they worked more with Texas rappers, 8 Ball and MJG are both from Memphis
-
Chris Crawford showed a lot of guts taking that three after missing six in a row. Freshman showed a lot of poise and this team is only going to get better when Barton gets more practices and is completely healthy. And Yo Gotti can move over. Joe Jackson is the new king of Memphis.

Loving the defense, but we're continuing to struggle with teams that like to trap.
-
I really don't think you could add any Texas rappers in the conversation. I know there are other good ones, but none of are in the class of these three. I love Bun and Pimp C, but I consider Scarface one of the 10 best MC's of all time.

Well, Jelan Kendrick got kicked off the team, but I think we have the chance of having some of the best guard play in the country. Watch out for University of New Orleans transfer, Charles Carmouche. He has been surprising a lot of people this off season.

Love it. Probably my favorite album from Kanye from a production stand point and musically he expands himself in so many ways. Still got Late Registration over this, and maybe College Dropout, but this is probably my favorite hip-hop album so far this year.

Zach Randolph Interested in Joining Pistons?
La Bomba replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
"This rumor is far from concrete, but there's plenty of logic behind Randolph wanting to return to the state where he played college hoops." kewl. -
If Rudy Gay keeps this up for the rest of the season, he's worth every penny.
-
I'll honestly take Encore over Recovery. Slim Shady LP is a classic.
-
I really can't complain about his production so far this season. If he keeps it up, I'm content with this contract.
-
Great offense, but we need to improve that 27th ranked defense. Randolph coming back soon is going to do wonders for both Gasol and the team's rebounding numbers. Keep up the good work, Conley.
-
Great, this means I can hear no more excuses when Vince Young continues to play like he's always played in the NFL... inconsistently.
-
Twitter hardass. Just saying.
-
Grizzlies always play rap intramentals when brining the ball up the court. Welcome to the Jungle is always played at the start of the forth quarter.
-
Randolph needs to come back ASAP. He makes Gasol's job so much easier.
-
Chris Wallace has been here long enough, and Grizzlies fans are tired of him. He got the Randolph deal done, but other than that, the front office has had way to many mistakes for this team to ever be taken seriously.

Hello from Horn Lake, Mississippi

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have another Grizz fan around. -
I think he said he was from the UK. Seeing that, it's not surprising. In Spain I see people my brother (who is 12) hangs out with, and they're all smoking.

Are the Grizzlies doomed next season?
La Bomba replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
One of the reasons the Grizzlies were so effective last season is because we had one of the best post duos in the league. We were a top rebounding team and one of the top teams (maybe first) in points in the paint. It's been long enough. I don't see Mayo being anything past a shooter that averages a little over 20 PPG. -
Are the Grizzlies doomed next season?

I still don't ever see Arthur having the offensive production Randolph has had in Memphis. I agree that Gasol should be the No.1 priority seeing that he'll likely take the cheaper contract and he's only 25 or 26. -
Seeing that both Randolph and Gasol are on contract year, and Gasol is going to get a big raise, and Randolph will probably get around the same amount of hefty money he was earning before, can the Grizzlies really afford to resign both these guys? Without them, it's back to rebuilding for the Grizzlies.

LOL this. I think this is the default for anyone under 21.
