  1. To me, this may be a good sign of Rudy Gay's improving defense. I didn't watch the game, but holding Beasley to six points isn't bad at all.
  2. For teams it would be Basketball - Memphis Grizzlies/Memphis Tigers Soccer - Real Madrid Tennis - Nadal
  3. Well, I get mad at the Grizzlies lack of a fanbase, or at least lack of true fans.
  4. I honestly just took it easy this weekend. Just hung out with some friends and didn't really get rowdy. A friend of mine got back in town last weekend and I pretty much don't remember anything past 9 P.M.
  5. Basketball, Football, Soccer, and I like watching Tennis finals.
  6. RIP Cudi's career. This album wasn't bad at all, but I definitely liked MOTM1 more. Ether way, if all his songs are going to be like Erase Me once he stops rapping, than I'll probably never give Cudi another listen.
  7. Anyone else notice how much bigger Darrell Arthur is? His arms are huge.
  8. This is fire. I've only heard his name, but I've never heard any of these songs until now. I'm downloading some mixtapes right now. Great stuff.
  9. Oklahoma State has an amazing football locker room, too.
  10. Deng's problem is his injuries. He'll always has and always will be better than Maggette. Maggette is a looser who plays with his head down and doesn't play a lick of defense.
  11. Agree completely with Nitro. The production and the R&B style choruses destroyed Recovery. I don't know why Eminem insisted on singing in so many songs. It isn't one of his talents. In regards to Album of the Year, I like Sufjan Stevens's The Age of Adz, Distant Relatives, Minus the Bear's OMNI, Curren$y's Pilot Talk, Vampire Weekend's Contra. I really don't listen to much current stuff besides hip-hop. I just like downloading albums from a couple years ago when I hear a band that I like.
  12. I mean preseason wins are nice and all, but the Grizzlies are undefeated too. Doesn't mean it'll translate.
  13. Mourinho says he'll go after him if Man U is actually willing to sell.
  14. 1. Pau 2. Yao 3. Duncan 4. Jefferson 5. Randolph
  15. Drop it. I'm pretty sure cursing will stay about the same with or without the censor.
  16. I love Kayne's music, but he's one strange dude. I really have to question a lot of the things he says and does.
  17. There's a statistic that 50% of all American millionaires inherit a large portion of their money. Fred Smith (FedEX founder) is often talked about here in Memphis as the product of the American dream. His father was not in the same category of his son in terms of wealth, but he wasn't struggling to put food on the table. Smith still went to the most expensive schhol in Memphis for elementary through high school (nearly 20,000 a year) and inherited a large portion of that wealth when he went on to create FedEx. I give Smith create because he has created a lot of jobs in my hometown (in some horrible working conditions, but still), but he didn't earn every cent of his wealth through his hard work alone.

  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaoA7r5kGqU I see it so much in this song.
  20. Curren$y's and Andre 3000's style? I was listening to Curren$y's new single, Micheal Knight, and I couldn't help, but hear a little Andre 3000 in Curren$y's flow. I'm not comparing the two, because before Andre 3000 hit his singing bug, he was arguably a top 15 MC of all time, but in some songs Curren$y's flow feels so similar to that of Andre 3000.
  21. Memphis basketball is back. [expletive] Calipari.

  22. The original Southern rap was the [expletive]. Koopsta Knicca, Three 6 Mafia (or Tripple 6 Mafia) before they won the Oscar, Project Pat when he first got out of jail and before it, some Lil' Wyte too maybe. Memphis rap is really underrated. Send me that link too. I've been looking for a download and I can't find a good one.
  23. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5691032 This guy cannot catch a break. Sad because with him Purdue is a National Championship team. I also think he could of really made a run to POY.
  24. At first I was disappointed when the Grizzlies let him go for cap relief, but he really has not found his place in the league.
