  1. Damn I really wanted the Saints to get Witherspoon.
  2. That isn't what he said. Not all Republicans want Obama dead.
  3. Does anyone else find this page extremely over the top? It's title is "DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN." It has over 700,00 fans, and whether you like Obama or not, I think you're a really immoral person if you're joining this even as a joke. I just can't believe there are 700,000 people who wish the death upon someone that was elected by the American people and has a family. I bet these people are quick to knock on someone's door telling them they are going to hell if they don't believe in God. This isn't Hitler or Stalin, he's a democratically elected leader and some of the hateful opposition he's receiving is just over the top.
  4. What bothers me is that a topic is made about the NBA going soft, and this becomes a topic about LeBron. So he complains to the refs, so do half of the players in the NBA. No player gets fouled hard, gets a no call, and just walks away as if nothing happened. There going to complain about it somehow.
  5. Yes, LeBron is definitely soft. A guy that looks for contact the way he does is definitely soft. Because someone goes to the line a lot they are soft. I swear you guys will look for any little statement just to bash LeBron. It's getting kind of old. This is coming from a guy that doesn't like Lebron at all by the way.

  7. Bulls because of where their starting point guard went to college.
  8. Exacally what I was going to say. Cancun is a nice vacation spot, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to live there year round. Chicago isn't as tourist friendly, but it's one of the best cities to live in in the U.S.
  9. He may be right, but I don't think anything he's saying is really necessary from a player's standpoint. If you're going to talk trash about a team, talk about the players, not the city they happen to live in. Most of the players in the NBA would rather play in another city to begin with.
  10. Lionell Hollins has the same thing on his pinky finger.
  11. I have autographs from all the Memphis Tigers basketball teams from 2002-2008. I have DeAngelo Williams too.
  12. I stopped posting on S2 I while ago. The only reason I stayed is because of the soccer discussion, which wasn't much to begin with.
  13. Bradford has the best tools out of any of the players mentioned. Unless that shoulder is going to continue to nag him for the rest of his career (which I doubt), he'll be fine.
  14. I'm not comparing anyone to anybody. I'm just using Calipari as an example of someone in sports who told the media he was committed to his team, than does the opposite. I could care less where Wade goes because I know he's not going to the Grizzlies and none of the teams in our division (and in the Western conference for the most part) is in contention for Wade.

Until Wade, or any other free-agent signs a new deal with their respective teams, their word doesn't mean anything.
  16. I'd rather be in a forum with a more limited amount of posters, but very knowledgable ones than be in a forum with a million fans that half have no idea what they're posting about.
  17. Funny how the NCAA added the eye paint rule right after their golden boy graduated.

  19. Internet Explorer and I haven't had any problems.
  20. They were saying on College Football Live that the Malcolm Floyd touchdown vs. Michigan would be considered taunting. Basically you take a team's hard earned touchdown because of celebrating five yards before getting in the endzone. Stupid.
  21. Personally, I have no problem with the way it is now. I don't see how a ref can determine whether or not something is celebrating or taunting. Taking away yards at the kickoff is fine, but taking away a touchdown plus 10-15 yards is excessive if you ask me. Thoughts?
