See the funny thing is, people say Rubio is supposed to be a Chris Quinn athletically, yet he still has a 39 inch verticle. He doesn't get a chance to show what he can do in the fast break because Europe plays such a slow, defensive minded basketball. He definitely has the speed to keep up with the NBA, he just lacks the physical strength. With that said, Wall is still the better player. Wall does everything so well and has unreal court vision for a 18 year old. He's physically gifted, the best playmaker in college basketball, and can consistently make jump shots. Wall is just so far ahead of Rubio physically and athletically, so as of now I'll take Wall. Maybe in a few years it'll be different. And Rubio's defense is better than Wall's. He won defensive player of the year in Spain, and does a good job staying on his man. He has the ability to lock people down. Who cares if he gets a lot of steals? Rajon Rondo does the same thing and he's a top five defensive point guard in the league.
