Of course it's not going to be a front page story. What are they going to say? "Breaking News: Chad Ochocinco puts on a hat." He's always mentioned for his antics if not we wouldn't be talking about it right now. That's what he wants.

This game is going perfectly for us right now at halftime. Rudy has 20 points already; Mayo has 12; Gasol has 12 points, 11 rebounds, and a block; Thabeet has already played 9 minutes and has 2 blocks and zero fouls. Wade and Dorrell Wright have hot starts, but everyone else on the Heat has been pretty quite.

It's not as easy as saying, "just ignore it." He's on the news all the time for his stupid antics that aren't really funny anyway. If ESPN would stop putting him on the news all the time it would be a lot easier to ignore him. He should just produce on the field on stop trying to get everyone's attention.

Too bad no team is ever going to trade John Wall for Russel Westbrook. Whoever has the opportunity to pick Wall will only trade the pick for LeBron.
-
This is starting to get annoying if you ask me. He's just an attention whore.

Pepe has confirmed to be out for six months after yesterday's awkward fall going for a clearing header. Huge loss, he's by far our most important player on defense. We better get used to Garay, who played pretty well when he was subbed in.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/dec/13/no-headline---2009-12-12-230845628662/ Preview for tonight's game. No injuries on both sides.

Is Brandon Marshall human? 19 receptions, 188 yards, 1 touchdown.

I think Reggie Bush isn't used right. He seems like he could be so much better if he got more opportunities. I've noticed that Shawn Payton loves power backs. I think Bush will have a break out season when he leaves next season.

Kansas would kill UK. Kansas is among the most disciplined teams in the country and a very well coached team. UK relies on talent alone, and a lot of that talent is really raw. John Wall is great, but he still gets a bunch of TO's, same goes for Eric Bledsoe (who is underrated as hell BTW) and DeMarcus Cousins. The Morris twins have looked much better as the season has moved along and Kansas is starting to look pretty good in the low post. Even if the game was close, Calipari would forget to call a timeout anyway.

Zach Randolph labors on despite All-Star snub
La Bomba replied to La Bomba's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
As much as people say Randolph was lazy and a ballhog, he's been pretty impressive this season. He said he wanted to start "a new chapter" in Memphis and it looks like he has. I haven't seen much of those flaws people talked about regarding him. He does sometimes take unadvised jump shots, but he works hard on the offensive glass and he has a good feel for the game. His defense isn't the greatest, but he has started to work harder as the season has gone on. I didn't watch him much on his prior stops, but he doesn't play the way people described him. -
He went to play in Greece at a pretty hefty contract. More than he's worth.

The Grizzlies have been rumoured to be interested in ex-Rocket Von Wafer. The Grizzlies desperately need a shooter as they're ranked close to last in the league in three point shooting, and some depth at shooting guard would be nice. I would like the signing.

Mullens, Weaver assigned to D-League
La Bomba replied to GamerGuy's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
I don't understand why Mullins didn't stay another year in college. He's obviously talented, but he's still very raw. I heard he had a tough childhood and needed the money, but he could of benefited from another year in college. -
If Thabeet could stay out of foul trouble...
La Bomba posted a topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
...he would be one of the league leaders in blocks. His timing is great, but he can't stay on the court, and it's really not because he gets fouls on the defensive end. Most of his fouls come from over the back fouls, illegal screens, and others on the offensive end. He isn't perfect defensively but he's better than I thought. He can certainly be a facotr defensively in the next few years. -
That's just as stupid because North Americans aren't the only ones who know about basketball. I agree with what someone else said. We should just let people vote for 5 players from each conference and they start depending on the coaches.

These 30 for 30 documentaries are great. Some of the things those players did just made me flat out laugh. By far the cockiest teams if all time.
-
I don't understand why people argue that Gerhart deserved it more than Ingram. Gerhart got a lot more carries than Ingram and did it against much weaker competition. Ingram tore up the best defenses in the country and was the best player on the best team.

Welcome to OTR. I'm an Tyreke Evans fan as well since he went to Memphis. Hope you stay active and contribute to the Kings forum.

lol exacally. It's hard to compare a guard with a big man. I would still take Shaq. Shaq in the early 2000's was arguably the most dominant player ever. You can argue about his flaws like his inability to defend the pick and roll and everything like that, but offensively he was unstoppable. A double team couldn't stop. He was always among the league leaders in rebounds and although Shaq has never been seen as a dominant defensive force, he was always intimidating and could still average over two blocks.

Probably going to record it on my DVR. All these 30 for 30 documentaries are pretty good.

Minority partners' share drops Odds and ends http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/dec/11/grizzlies-trying-sign-former-houston-guard-von-waf/ Hiesley is pathetic. He's a cheapest owner in the NBA and is only ruining Memphis's chances to keep the team. Leave the team Hiesley. I would like to sign Von Waffer. The Grizzlies are one of the worst shooting teams in the league, if not the worst. We could really use a shooter.

At least this team is starting to fight more. In the beginning of the season if we were getting blown out in the second quarter the team would of given up. The team is progressing.
