Grizz sign Jamaal Tinsley
La Bomba replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
I like the signing. Marcus Williams is a 3rd stringer on a bad team and Iverson is a gonner. He's not really a point guard ethier. We needed depth at guard. -
Jennings Scores 55 in Win Over Warriors
La Bomba replied to Sun Tzu's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
Wow...I was dead wrong about this guy. Doesn't matter if you do it against the Warriors or a D-League team. A 55 point game for a rookie is pretty remarkable. -
Battle of two of the worst teams in the NBA. A win is nice and I'll take it, but I'm certainly not throwing fireworks for beating the Timberwolves at home. Gasol had a great game, but also had 6 fouls and 6 TO's.
-
Hell yeah. Jelan Kendrick commits to Memphis which gives us the No. 1 class. Josh Pastner is the messiah.
-
Will Coleman's first game = 16 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, only 1 foul. It's Jackson St. but it's not a bad stat line at all. We took 24 three but only made 8. Elliot Williams had 19 points but took way to many threes. He gets to the line a lot though.

I hate UNC but I was hoping Barnes would go there because that gets Adonis Thomas closer to Memphis.
-
I think Memphis needs games like these to prepare them for a tougher conference this year. We may get blown out but we don't have much to loose. BTW, I'm hoping you guys win it all, classy program with a classy coach.
-
I'm fired up for Tuesday, but it will get ugly. Memphis isn't on Kansas's level, plain and simple.
-
Tarik Black considering Marquette, Memphis, Tennessee, Florida and Alabama. He's visiting Florida.
-
Yeah I love Charlie Strong. He would be my second choice in a perfect, but not so realistic world.
-
We all know that Wade can get to the line, but 18 FT's in 3 quarters?
-
I didn't say that. That was a journalist for the Commercial Appeal. I've heard Phillip Fulmer's name for the UVA job.
-
Bud Foster, Virgina Tech defensive coordinator, said he may be interested in the job. Gus Malzahn said he's flattered that his name is being mentioned, along with the WKU job. Malzahn is my first choice out of everyone we're considering. I think it'll be huge if we land him. Also saw Lou Holtz's name on some blog, but it didn't look very reliable.

I don't care where he goes as long as it's out of the Grizzlies. If the Grizzlies continue to suck? Cool, we're used to that. Gets us one step closer to John Wall. I just want all the young players to play as many minutes possible. Conley is in his third season already, if he doesn't put himself out as one of the better point guards available, trade him. Rudy Gay is on contract year, we need to see him as much as possible. It's obvious the Grizzlies aren't very good with or without Iverson. Why keep him if you're going to continue to loose games and slow down the young players development.

BREAKING NEWS: Byron Scott Fired!
La Bomba replied to Jammin's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
Lionell Hollins is on the hot seat as well (or should be). The Grizzlies should really consider going after Scott. He's a good coach. Firing him was a poor decision IMO. -
He was 11 and 7 his rookie season and now he's about 19 and 10. I don't think he'll keep it up all season long, but as of now he seems like the most improved IMO. Not only his stats, but also the way he plays. Last season he depended too much on his 10 foot jumper. This year he has been a monster in the paint, has showed great footwork, runs the floor much better, and gets to the line a lot.

Hippolyte Tsafack signs with Memphis. Three star big man out of Virgina, but born in Cameroon. First big man in this draft class. Hopefully, Ty Black is next.
-
Wow, every single person on my friends list is playing this.
-
I know. Gasol has transformed himself into one of the best centers in the league.
-
Yeah the visit to I had UT-Knoxville made me really want to get on track and get my grades high enough to go there with a decent scholarship. The other schools I visited are nothing compared to Knoxville.
-
This is like the Grizzlies. The Tigers rank top 10 in attendence in the entire country, but the Grizzlies rank close to last in attendence.
-
If I had to use one word...lost. Shows potential on the defensive side, but probably leads the league in fouls per minute.
-
Don't have a link yet, but it happened in tonight's game against the Trailblazers, which was a loss believe it or not. How long is someone out usually for a broken jaw?
-
The state of Tennessee have a ton of scholarship opportunities, but unfortunately, the only school in Tennessee that is above average is Tennessee-Knoxville and it's getting harder and harder to get into. University of Memphis is one of my choices too because I could probably go there for free since my parents work there, but even my parents recommended I go elsewhere. Thanks man. Hope everything works out for you.
