  1. A lot of people said Sims-Walker would have a breakout season this year. He has been a pleasant surprise for Jacksonville so far.
  2. Eastern Conference: 1. Celtics 2. Cavaliers 3. Magic 4. Hawks 5. Heat 6. Wizards 7. Raptors 8. 76ers Western Conference: 1. Lakers 2. Spurs 3. Nuggets 4. Mavericks 5. Blazers 6. Jazz 7. Hornets 8. Grizzlies Eastern Conference is much deeper this year. I think Sixers and Bulls will battle it out and Sixers take it.
  3. They have also played the easiest schedule in the league. Russel is the worst starting quarter back in the league...seriously.
  4. It's not that big of an achievement to be better than Russel, although Kolb has impressed me as of late. Russel may be the worst starting QB in the league.
  5. Looks like Drew Bress's streak on two touchdown games is going to end.
  6. Tommy West's days in Memphis are numbered. Can't get embarrassed by Marshall and Middle Tennessee State for crying out load. With all the money Memphis saves by not having Calipari salary, Memphis should go after a big name assistant.
  7. At least Thabeet is known for working hard and really wanting to get better. That's what a lot of scouts said about him before the draft. I still think he'll be a bust, but at least he's not a lazy bum like Darko.
  8. LOL, England is not the most physical league in the world. It's Italy by far. England isn't physical at all considering how much space its defenders give opposing players.
  9. I think it means that there are a number of teams that are a threat to win the Champions League. I think there are five teams in the EPL that could win it. La Liga has two VERY good teams, but the rest can barley make it out of the group stages.
  10. La Liga looks horrible this year. It's basically a race between Real Madrid and Barcelona because every other team looks absolutely mediocre. The only other teams that look decent are Sevilla and maybe Valencia. That's why I disagreed when people said La Liga is the best league in the world now that they have brought in the best players. The EPL has so much more balance than any other league.
  11. He should be working out with Hasheem, who will be better than Hakeem anyway. Hasheem's post moves and basketball IQ are second to none.
  12. Yeah, those New York Yankees have never heard of doing that.
  13. It's okay, Jesus is on his side so he'll never get hurt.
  14. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=4503990 I still think it's clear he didn't take it.
  15. I'm just saying, there were a lot of people in Memphis that were planning to go to that fight and just retiring at 31 just to do a remake of a movie is just a big let down. I know that movie meant a lot to him and his dad, but he has time to do something like that later when he is older. He's only 31 and he still has plenty in him to continue to be one of the best fighters in MMA. I think he'll loose part of his step after all these months of no official training. And I don't agree with all the stuff Dana made him go through ether.
  16. I'm almost sure that Rampage hasn't fought his last fight in MMA, maybe even the UFC. This is pretty gay though. Rampage goes out like a [expletive] for not fighting Rashad after both of them talking [expletive] about each other for years. People wanted to see that fight too. It was in his hometown and a lot of people in Memphis that are big MMA and would be willing to pay big money to see the hometown fighter.
  17. Jordan still got some heat for the arrogance he showed during his speech. Personally, I think the media should of talked more about it, but whatever.
  18. No, I went to the doctor, got tested, tested positive, got medicine. It's not like you should treat this differently to any other sickness.
  19. It's true but it still sounds a bit arrogant. It's basically ignoring what a Front Office does to improve a competitive team.
  20. Um...no. I had it all this week. I was back in school after four days. It's like the normal flu.
  21. I go to at least one or two games a year and stay afterwards to get autographs and stuff. The player I really wanted to meet was Rose, but all the players said he was too shy to come out, haha. I also used to go to the U of M Rec Center and a lot of the players would be there.
  22. http://games.espn.go.com/fba/tools/projections?display=alt&&proTeamId=29 Don't really agree with a lot of these predictions.
  23. Are you going to do other European countries?
  24. I think it's great for the environment in sporting events. Most of the time it's just collage students trying to have some fun.
  25. Favorite Team(s): Memphis Tigers/Syracuse Orange Favorite Player All-Time: Joey Dorsey Favorite Current Player: Elliot Williams Favorite Moment: Chris Douglas-Roberts dunking on Kevin Love Jersey's Owned: None, but I think I used to have a Chris Massie jersey Number of Games Been to: Over 10, don't know the exact number Players Met: Met most of the players from the 2005, 2006, and 2007 team.
