  1. If he plays, I don't see Boston having a chance of taking this game.. and the series.
  2. He's going to Atletico (Minas Gerais).
  3. I'd keep him. Not a big fan of trading young promising athletes for 'quality veterans'. Just my .02

  7. Drogba scores as Ivory Coast beat Tanzania 2-0 http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/01/13/article-2086496-0F735B7D00000578-133_468x315.jpg Didier Drogba was again among the goals as the Ivory Coast led a list of former finalists in a winning start to World Cup qualification but new African champions Zambia lost their opening game on the road to Brazil. There was also a setback for Morocco, whose coach Eric Gerets' job is now under severe threat after a 1-1 draw away at lowly-ranked Gambia. Drogba and his former Chelsea teammate Salomon Kalou scored for the Ivory Coast as they beat Tanzania 2-0 at home less than a week after changing their coach. It was the first game for the pair since the Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 19 and a winning debut for new Ivorian coach Sabir Lamouchi, whose surprise appointment on Monday had been widely criticised. Algeria, Cameroon, Senegal and Tunisia also triumphed on Saturday as 11 matches were played at the start of the group phase. It followed two matches on Friday and there will be seven more on Sunday. 16. Italy Match Fixing Scandal: Lazio skipper Stefano Mauri arrested, Domenico Criscito on cops’ radar SS Lazio skipper Stefano Mauri is one of eleven players arrested by Italian police as they investigate a match fixing scandal that threatens the nation’s preparation for the 2012 European Championships. The police also arrived at Italy’s training camp in Tuscany to search the room of former Genoa and current Zenit St.Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito and conduct further investigations. Like Criscito, Antonio Conte, the manager of 2011/12 domestic champions Juventus, has also been placed under investigation, although reports suggest this is more related to his time as manager at Siena rather than Juve. Conte managed Siena, whose president Massimo Mezzaroma, is also a suspect, before moving to Juve in 2011. Omar Milanetto, former Genoa skipper, and Sampdoria striker Christopher Bertani have also been arrested along with Mauri. The house of Chievo Verona skipper Sergio Pellissier was also searched. The match fixing trial will begin on May 31, with 22 clubs, 52 players and 33 matches ( mostly in Serie B) under the scanner. Italy were rocked by the Calciopoli scandal on the eve of the 2006 World Cup too, the last title won by the Azzurri. The investigations then resulted in the relegation of Juventus to Italian football’s second tier. Italian FA vice president Demetrio Albertini has already announced that Criscito will not be going to Euro 2012 despite Prandelli not having released his 23 member shortlist yet. Source
