  13. Reggie Evans voted dirtiest player in the NBA http://clippers.ocregister.com/files/2012/04/AP120318047251-1024x902.jpg Reggie Evans has endeared himself to Staples Center fans, hearing chants of “Reg-gie, Reg-gie” after grabbing a key offensive rebound or making a hustle play. But while Clippers fans love him, the rest of the NBA has a very different opinion. In its annual survey of NBA players, Sports Illustrated revealed that Evans has been voted the dirtiest player in the league. Evans won the award without much competition, receiving 37 percent of the vote (118 players responded to the survey). The results, though, might have been different, had Metta World Peace’s elbow shot occurred prior to the poll being taken. 1. REGGIE EVANS, CLIPPERS PF 37% T2. METTA WORLD PEACE, LAKERS SF 9% T2. KEVIN GARNETT, CELTICS PF 9% 4. JEFF FOSTER 5% 5. GERALD HENDERSON, BOBCATS 4% FAST FACTS: The poll was completed before World Peace went all Ron Artest on Thunder G James Harden on Sunday, concussing Harden with a 'celebratory' elbow and earning himself an ejection plus a 7-game suspension.... Kings' DeMarcus Cousins leads the NBA with 249 personal fouls but did not receive a single mention. Meanwhile, Evans is tied for 127th in the league with 117 PFs.... Foster retired on March 21.... Clippers PG Chris Paul also received 4% of the vote.... In a separate poll of NBAers, the trio of Evans, Garnett and World Peace (tied with Sasha Vujacic, who now plays in Turkey) were deemed the league's most "annoying" players. BASED ON 118 NBA PLAYERS WHO RESPONDED TO SI'S SURVEY Source

Andrew Bynum Will Skip 2012 Olympics to Undergo Knee Procedure LA Lakers center Andrew Bynum is giving up the chance to be an Olympian this summer in favor of having the same knee procedure teammate Kobe Bryant underwent during the 2011 offseason. According to the Los Angeles Times' Mike Bresnahan, Bynum will not participate in the 2012 London Olympics because in addition to having the operation, he also wants extra rest. 20. The Clippers set a new record for the best regular season in franchise history. Even if they lose the Season's Finale, they are guaranteed a minimum winning % of .606 – the previous best regular-season % was .598 back in 1974/75: 49 -33 (.598) as the Buffalo BRAVES (1974–'75) By the way, if the Clippers could secure the 4th playoff spot, and win homecourt advantage in the First Round, it would be for the first time ever!
