  1. ^ Dope! Shaliq'a favorite line: let me ask you, what you got against me? Is it my girl or is it the Bentley, is it my house, or maybe it's all three?? I just came up and you're all against me. Now ask yourself, why is he number one? now ask yourself, how's done what he's done? Then ask yourself: you fit for the long run? you think its a game cause you [expletive]ed the wrong one ------------------------------------------

  8. EDIT: No Extension For Tyreke Evans? -- See post #2. -------------------------- ISAIAH THOMAS NAMED NBA WESTERN CONFERENCE ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH http://www.nba.com//kings/media/IsaiahROYpack_585.png SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Apr. 2, 2012 -- Kings guard Isaiah Thomas was named NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month for games played in March. It is the second straight month he has won the award. Thomas joins Tyreke Evans as the only Kings rookies to win back-to-back Western Conference Rookie of the Month honors. Thomas is the fourth Kings rookie to receive the monthly honor – Lionel Simmons (December 1990, February 1991), Brian Grant (January 1995), Evans (October/November 2009, December 2009) – and joins Simmons and Evans as the only two-time award winners. Thomas led Western Conference rookies in March in assists (4.9 rpg) and was second in scoring (13.6 ppg). He also led all rookies in fastbreak points (64) in March and was ranked first in free throws made (54), second in assists (89), third in points (245) and steals (24). Source
  9. http://www.nba.com/rookie-ladder/ See Also -- Injury clips Irving: April 11 -- Ricky Rubio got bumped off the Ladder when he went out with his season-ending knee injury, so it's only fair that Kyrie Irving falls off this week. Irving re-aggravated his shoulder injury and should miss at least another week. With nothing to play for besides experience for 2013, the Cavs are in no hurry to bring him back. So, until he returns the future Rookie of the Year will have to watch along with Rubio as 10 other rookies vie for the top spot. And for those of you wanting to see justice served (Irving and Rubio fans), I'll reshuffle the deck April 25 when I put out my final Ladder of the regular season. http://www.nba.com/rookie-ladder/

  13. PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge is traveling to Colorado to have his sore right hip examined. The team says trainer Jay Jensen will accompany Aldridge to the examination Tuesday in Vail, Colo. Aldridge had an MRI on the hip late last month, but the results were negative. He has blamed the soreness on the grind of the lockout-shortened season and physical play. A first-time All-Star this season, Aldridge leads the Blazers with 21.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Aldridge is questionable for Portland's home game against Golden State on Wednesday night. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/blazers-aldridge-hip-examined-193835834--nba.html;_ylt=AuOo1cIJBJLqjC5TB78sJga8vLYF
  14. Rubio unsure if he'll be ready for training camp: MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The wide smile still flashed on Ricky Rubio's face, quicker than one of his slick no-look passes in the lane. Yes, the prodigious Minnesota Timberwolves point guard sighed a few times during his first public comments about the torn anterior cruciate and lateral collateral ligaments in his left knee that cut short his promising rookie year. He acknowledged feeling ''sad, mad'' immediately after the injury. The crutches he used to reach the podium will be at his side for another month. He said he's unsure if he'll be recovered in time to take part in training camp or the start of next season. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/rubio-unsure-hell-ready-training-201326912--nba.html;_ylt=AvgugPaNTFqTAZC50fckSvi8vLYF

  16. On This Day in Clippers History: >>APRIL 10th<< **April 10, 2007** LAC @ NOK: 100-103 F/OT (37-40, 9th West) http://www.nba.com/media/clippers/photoheader_NOK_070410.gif http://www.nba.com/media/clippers/LACNOK_070410_7.jpg Corey Maggette racked up 24 & 8, and EB drilled a jumper with wan tick left to force OT, but L.A. never led in the extra period, fallin' 103-100 in Oklahoma. Brand tied a season high with 37 pts to go along with 10 rebs.
