  1. I can swear he's sayng 'b!tch-ass'.
  2. The 2012 All-Flop Teams: FIRST TEAM Chris Paul, PG: Paul quickly emerged as the consensus Most Floppy Player. As this video from Daily Thunder’s Royce Young shows, Paul is truly a fantastic two-way talent. Graydon Gordian elaborates, “I think Royce's video demonstrated two really distinct things Chris Paul does: (a) He stops dead in his tracks, backs up into a player who's behind him and then falls forward, and (b) he maintains possession of the ball and/or makes a pass while going to the ground. He doesn't lose the ball when flopping, which lots of guys do.” Raja Bell/Manu Ginobili, SG: Controversial decision to include both of them here, but really these two have given so much to the game. Manu with his whiplash-inducing head thrashes as he drives to the basket and Raja Bell with his ability to be thrown backwards by the slightest of contact. Here’s the Raja-Manu mixtape of floppery. Paul Pierce, SF: Pierce is another two-way player who isn’t afraid to artistically embellish any contact (real or imagined) with a sometimes ludicrous flourish. Luis Scola, PF: Battier put it best: “The more hair you have, the better. My boy Luis Scola, he’s got that long hair and when it gets sweaty and he starts flopping and flailing, it looks like he’s getting murdered out there.” Ben Wallace, C: Writes Patrick Hayes of Piston Powered: "Wallace is adept at going for rebounds in heavy traffic, but he also uses that traffic to his advantage. If a shot is missed and he doesn't have a great angle to get to it, he's patented a move where he jumps forward and lurches his body while simultaneously letting out a loud 'OOOPH,' which over the years has pretty regularly convinced officials he was pushed in the back. Often, video evidence suggests otherwise. Wallace's artful flopping on rebound attempts has been just another valuable skill he's brought to the Pistons that doesn't show up in his stats. Oh, and don't ever mention to him that he flops ... he doesn't like that.” http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/39096/the-2012-all-flop-teams

  12. Leandro Barbosa will make his debut with the Pacers tonight, with Coach Frank Vogel planning to use him for 15 to 20 minutes off the bench at shooting guard. “He picked up a lot of our basic offensive sets pretty quickly (at practice Monday),” Vogel said. “We’ll see how he’s going and we’ll adjust it when he’s out there.” Acquired from Toronto Thursday for a second-round pick and cash, Barbosa had an orientation system with the coaching staff Sunday before Monday’s practice. “Right now I’m just getting to know the guys on the court,” Barbosa said. “I can be OK with that.” Adding Barbosa to the mix shakes up the second-unit rotations. George Hill, who has played almost exclusively at shooting guard, will spend more time backing up Darren Collison at the point. That knocks A.J. Price, who had been playing well, out of the rotation. “He’s such a great kid and such a professional … he recognizes what Barbosa brings to the table and how well George has been playing.,” Vogel said. “I think if he was a coach he’d probably make the same move.” Vinny Del Negro is wasting no time with Nick Young. Acquired from the Wizards last week, Young will start at shooting guard in place of Randy Foye in the Clippers’ lineup tonight. “(Danny) Granger and (Paul) George are big, and we’ve got to get Nick acclimated,” Del Negro said. “It makes sense.” http://tbt.blogs.nba.com/2012/03/20/clippers-at-pacers-7-p-m-et/

  14. 'Twan vs. Kobe December 6th, 2000 The Arena in Oakland Oakland, CA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wyy-uppxZJ4 Boxscore: GSW vs LAL 125-122 F/OT Antawn JAMISON*: 51 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 21-29 FG, (2-7 3-Pt)*. Kobe BRYANT: 51 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 18-35 FG, (2-7 3-Pt). *First Warrior to score 50+ pts in two straight games since Wilt Chamberlain. Kobe was coming off a hot streak at the age of 21, scoring 3 straight 35+ point games coming off a 36 point game. The next game was the 2nd of a back to back, where the would go to Oakland to meet Golden State and their hot scorer - Antawn Jamison. Jamison came off a 51 point game against the Sonics. In the beginning of the game, Kobe Bryant and Antawn Jamison both got off to great starts shooting at a high percentage. Kobe played consistently aggressive throughout the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters while Jamison would get many easy baskets in transition. However, the Lakers made a mental breakdown when a 104-94 lead would evaporate into a 107-107 tie. It would go down to a last second play. This was another example of one of those games where Kobe gets doubled off the ball forcing him into a wild 28 foot three. Even at a young age of 21, Kobe was already feared by opposing teams. Can 82games.com's complete bogus claim of 7-33 and 15-55 on game winning shots, while calling him a ballhog for it, say otherwise? No. Which is why numbers like those will always be misleading(And Kobe has 10 GW's from 03-04 to 05-06, 24 GW's in his lifetime). Ultimately, in overtime Kobe missed on another very tough 35-foot jumpshot leading to a Warriors win 125-122
