  1. ^Regardless of the Falujah incident, this is a disgrace to the entire U.S. Marine Corps and it sure stains the US image worldwide...

  6. The Clippers said Sunday afternoon that the MRI exam on Chris Paul’s strained left hamstring was negative. The team also said Paul will be listed as day to day, but that the 6-foot All-Star guard is questionable for Monday’s game against the New Jersey Nets at Staples Center. The Clippers are expected to sign guard Courtney Fortson to a contract Monday, pending his passing a physical. Fortson is a 5-11 point guard who was on the Clippers’ training camp roster before he was waived last month. Paul was injured late in the fourth quarter during the Clippers’ victory over the Lakers on Saturday night at Staples Center. If Paul doesn’t play, Chauncey Billups probably would start at point guard and reserve Randy Foye would start at shooting guard. Source
  7. ^ LOL! I really didn't notice the dog... Anyhow, back to randomness: The meaning of the name Sundiata is 'Hungry lion'. Famous people with that name: Sundiata Keita, Sundjata Keyita, Mari Djata I or just Sundiata (pronounced: soon-jah-tuh) (c. 1217 – c. 1255) was the founder of the Mali Empire and celebrated as a hero of the Mandinka people of West Africa in the semi-historical Epic of Sundiata. Sundiata Gaines FTW...
  8. Best New Zealand Player Ever? To me its Pero Cameron: http://e.i.uol.com.br/esporte/basquete/2010/09/05/pero-cameron-da-nova-zelandia-danca-o-haka-antes-de-jogo-da-equipe-1283730255919_300x300.jpg Cameron was first selected for the Tall Blacks in 1992. In 2000, for the Sydney Olympics he became co-captain of the side, and was elevated to sole captain the following year. Arguably his most memorable moment as Captain of the NZ Team came in 2002 when the national team stunned the basketball world by making the semi finals of the World Championships eventually losing to Germany for 4th place. Cameron averaged 14.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in the tournament, and became the only non-NBA player to make the all-tournament team. He was joined on this team by established NBA superstars Dirk Nowitzki and Peja Stojakovic and NBA rookies-to-be Yao Ming and Emanuel Ginobili. He has played in 2 Olympic Games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and 3 World Championships: 2002, 2006, 2010.
  9. O.J. Mayo’s Back On the Block According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal and first reported by Yahoo, that something looks like it’ll be O.J. Mayo. Because of the aforementioned three huge contracts on the team’s payroll (Randolph, Rudy Gay, and Marc Gasol), there’s little chance the team does much in terms of a lucrative extension for Mayo, so getting assets for him now, while the team is struggling, might not be a bad idea. Reports indicate New Jersey is the team making inquiries at the moment, possibly offering up Anthony Morrow in exchange for Mayo. Morrow makes $4 million this year and next and would then come off the books, while Mayo is on the hook for $5.6 this season, with a $7.4 million qualifying offer looming for 2012-2013, to say nothing of the sort of extension he’ll eventually command. From a financial standpoint, and without losing much in production via Morrow, the trade makes sense for Memphis. The other package New Jersey is reportedly offering centers around point guard Jordan Farmar, a draft pick, and cash. Neither offer is close to consummation, but the simple fact that conversations of this nature are even happening says Mayo is back on the block. Assuming they were so ready to move him for Josh McRoberts straight up last year, if they can get more than that now, it makes sense that they’d pull the trigger. http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-sunday-taj-gibson-a-rare-bench-luxury ^ Look what the Nets are offering.
  10. Lamar Odom took part in the got milk? Rookie Challenge only. And neither Jason Terry, nor 'The Matrix' participated in the 2000 NBA All-Star Game.
  11. Game #9, LAC vs. LAL 102-94, (6-3, 4th West) http://www.nba.com/clippers/photos/postgame-670-120114.jpg Blake Griffin chipped in with 22 points, 14 rebounds and five assists while Chauncey Billups scored 19. Chris Paul exploded for 33 points, six assists and three steals as the Clippers beat the Lakers 102-94 at home on Saturday night.
  12. Mostly online as ESPN, and Space broadcast only 2-3 games a week. <_<
  13. Was impressed that blake showed some glimpses of defensive potential when he had to rotate to guard bynum and kobe. if he learns to be solid on defense he will probably score a lot of points from steals and forcing turnovers. hope cp3 recovers by wednesday vs the mavs. we can win without him vs the nets and at utah.
  14. Let The Battle for LA Begin!!! *Stumbled upon this great video. Check it out and you'll be psyched for this game!

The Brazilian most notably played five years with Spanish club FC Barcelona, with whom he won the 1998 and 1999 Spanish La Liga championship and the 1998 Copa del Rey. Between 1993 and 2003, Rivaldo played 74 matches and scored 34 goals for the Brazilian national football team and was an integral part of the 2002 FIFA World Cup winning Brazilian team.

  17. Sheedster gon` be just perfect on the Clippshow! - Plays DEFENSE! - `Sheed & Chauncey reunite!! - Rasheed was a teammate of Clippers assistant coach, Robert Pack, when they were the Washington Bullets. - Rasheed`s also familar with Clippers assistant coach, Dean Demopoulos, who was the lead recruiter at Temple. - Most importantly, I won't have to watch Cook missing 3-pointers every touch he gets.
  18. Same here. I still miss the ones with Thunder tho'. The Dubs should make a tribute...
  19. The NBA is indeed in a rather dire need for 'Sheed.
