  1. Saw the NBA tip-off show on ESPN, and Broussard picked CP3 to win MVP, and Clipps to reach the NBA Finals... Seems like he hopped onto the bandwagon.
  2. Update that, B: http://i41.tinypic.com/fad20g.jpg

  4. Barnes crying because the Clippers dunk too much (Only part of the article/video is about the dunking part): http://lakersblog.latimes.com/lakersblog/2011/12/matt-barnes-accuses-blake-griffin-of-flopping.html Can't blame the clippers for playing with such passion even though it was just a preseason game. Whether it is a preseason game or the last few minutes of a game that is already won (the Odom incident last season), the Clippers will play their hearts out until the very end. It's very easy to see this and it's also why many people across the league is rooting for the Clippers to win (aside from all the dunking from Blake the Great). The Clippers are maturing quickly. The Lakers are going the opposite direction, thanks in part to incidents like these and following up with continual complaints after the facts. It's funny coming from an ex-Clipper. And the fact that he's complaining that the Clippers celebrate too much after dunks means that the Clippers are dunking way to much, which means the Lakers needs to stop crying and play some D. This is too good.

  6. I got to see Eric P. #52 was a decent 3-pt shooter. Used to be the Clippers' longest-tenured active player (not all-time) before he retired: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f321/sha44/cm482games.jpg *Corey's got 512 games for the Clippers - 104 shy of Eric P.
  7. Trey Thompkins Making Impression: http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-pm-lopez-injury-a-wrinkle-in-the-howard-situation Honestly, it’s a bad situation for NJ who lose their starting center and/or their main bait for Howard. The question is – will Lopez be out 4-6 weeks or 2-3 months – big difference. It doesn’t feel like the Magic are ready to trade Howard – but LA would be higher on the list in the short term if for some reason Orlando feels compelled to act sooner than later. That said – I expect they act patiently. Also, Kobe’s teammates expect him to play on Sunday despite wrist injury. Andrew Goudelock with Lakers and Trey Thompkins with Clippers are both making quick impressions on their coaches. Clippers signing Reggie Evans – willing to go into season a little small up front on bench. No other moves planned initially. Finally – Clippers were under the cap – Lakers weren’t – that’s what LAL couldn’t make a waiver claim on Billups while LAC got him for a pretty penny.
  8. I love the Warriors, and I see on RealGM.com a lot of fans who have a problem with Lee's contract. The guy is a former big man all-star and in his prime. That's huge in Warriorland. The positives he brings to this team - leadership, character, rebounding, scoring, passing, etc. outweigh his slightly "overpaid" contract. One of the problems with many Warrior fans is they look at the contract FIRST and talent and production second when analyzing a player. It's why everyone was high on Dorrell Wright and some low on the David Lee trade. They look at achieving "good value" like it's the ONLY barometer to building a team. That's not how you win games though. Talent wins games, and as we've seen for the last 10+ yrs, cap space doesn't guarantee a FA. David Lee was a GOOD move by Lacob imo. You know why? Because the alternative was Anthony Randolph, instability, and a bunch of question marks. How soon people forget. I mean fans were still hyping Brandan Wright as someone who could start before we got Lee lol.
  9. Anyhow, Shaliq hopes it is not true, lawyers say they got pictures.... One can never tell. Could be from years ago. The whole part that sounds like crap is the accusation that the warriors let her go to cover up the story. That's not something I can see warriors management doing. Specially since CA is so protective of employees. Also, the big question is was it consensual? If he was fount around, that is not cool, but he can take that up with his wife. Who cares. If he was sexually harassing her, well that is a whole different story. To me it seems like she is trying to get money after she got fired. This is where the hiring of Rick Welts really comes into play. I don't think the guy who struggled with the decision to come out the closet is going to just try and sweep something under the rug like she is accusing. Hopefully the details will hash themselves out quickly and this won't be a lingering issue all year long.
  10. Apparently, no one enjoys 'hermaphrodite wildabeasts' more than you. You're the one who invented that freak-@$$ word.
  11. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f321/sha44/cm_mediaday2011.jpg Corey led the Bobcats with 18 pts and 5 rebs(25 mins) on 5-10 shooting, (7-10 FT), in his only preseason game.
