Mo ain't going anywhere. Chauncy Billups as a starter and Mo Williams as the backup. When was the last time the Clippers had such a solid rotation at PG? Maybe, a motivated Sam Cassell and pre-injury Sean Livingston. Not as solid ON PAPER, but it's the last decent one I thought I'd mention. It all depends on Billups, and THE ONLY piece of evidence does not point to a promising conclusion.

After waking up this morning, after being pissed about getting Billups, I think I am really ok with this deal. If Billups buys into the team concept, I will be very happy with the outcome. I guess my inner child got the best of me. I was only thinking along the lines of losing CP3 for an aging star. I still believe it's a typical Clippers move but we'll see how it pans out. 2 million isn't much so it isn't like a big investment. I said I thought we'd get to play-offs this season and having Billups won't hurt us...Unless he keeps his promise but again, we'll see. I kinda lost the enthusiasm for CP3 at the moment but still hoping the commish comes to his senses. Now I can go back to finishing my mix. I heard its dead. LAC waiting for Stern to lower his trade request. I hope Neil thinks very hard not to include Gordon that would be a mistake. Stern also wants two 1st rounder. I don't think so!

I think we all saw this coming. Great teams overpay. We're going to need Olshey to do a State of the Union address, these are some solid GM moves over the weekend. We are over the cap but we just have the $2.5M exception. And for the first time ever in my 14 years in L.A. as a Clipps fan, I can honestly say we don't need anything at this point. If you trade Kaman, we just need to get another big back for him. There's no point. Just keep him for the season. We can probably even do a sign and trade with whoever wants him this summer and get back a draft pick and big trade exception. Playing with the big boys now. Love it.

And if DTS or his staff is reading this, remember, the possible luxury taxes that may come with both dj and cp3's salaries, most likely could be paid off some by tv deals and of coarse, a lot, I MEAN A LOT MORE HOME SELLOUTS, at least with cp3 in the fold with our "core". But cp3 must, must sign that one year extension for the clips to give up anything more than the minny pick itself.
