I've Always Liked Billups. He Is A Clear Threat On The 3 Point Line. Thats Something The Clippers Are Lacking In A Way. You Can't Get The Leadership He Has Anywhere Else.... I Would Want To Keep Him, Not Sign+Trade Him. He Has Just Enough In The Tank To Impact The Team For The Better Long Run. Also, what if the Clips talked to all the teams that are interested in Billups and worked a deal where we pick him up and sign + trade him? Like the Celtics need a big man with the loss of Perkins. I'm sure they could use Chris Kaman in their final run with Pierce, Allen, and Garnett. They'll likely blow it up after this season so why not move Rajon Rondo for a package that includes Chauncey Billups (veteran PG), Mo Williams, and Chris Kaman. And we can throw in a pick to sweeten the deal a little. DeAndre is really athletic and talented dont get me wrong but he just isn't worth more the 6-8 million in my opinion.. He has no moves or even footwork and is not a threat when posting up. Also with blake in the key at all times DeAndre does nothing by clog it for him.. if DJ could shoot this would be fine, but he cant do this either.. So what im trying to say is that I wouldnt be to disappointed to see him go to NOLA for CP3. I'm surprised DJ wasn't offered for Chris Paul.
