  5. Come to think about it, Ginolbi was picked like, 55th or something, and we didn't do too bad with Jordan at what, 38th? So anything's possible to having a "diamond in the rough". It's up to the clipper jewelers, [coaching staff], to form this player into a brilliant gem, and I hope they can do just that!
  6. Draw for the UEFA EURO 2012 play-offs Published: Thursday 13 October 2011, 13.20CET A number of teams will be renewing ties after the draw for the UEFA EURO 2012 play-offs in Krakow, not least Turkey and Croatia who played out a memorable quarter-final in 2008. Play-off Draw: Turkey v Croatia Estonia v Republic of Ireland Czech Republic v Montenegro Bosnia and Herzegovina v Portugal First legs: 11/12 November Second legs: 15 November Play-off records Bosnia and Herzegovina – P1 L1 Croatia – P2 W2 Czech Republic – P2 W1 L1 Estonia – N/A Montenegro – N/A Portugal – P1 W1 Republic of Ireland – P5 W1 L4 Turkey – P4 W2 L2 Already qualified Co-hosts: Poland and Ukraine Group winners: Spain (holders), Germany, Russia, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece, England, and Denmark Best runners-up: Sweden Final tournament draw: 2 December in Kyiv, 18.00CET (20.00 local time) Final tournament: 8 June–1 July Final tournament venues: Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw, Wroclaw (Poland); Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv (Ukraine) UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, who conducted the draw alongside former Poland forward and tournament ambassador Zbigniew Boniek, said: "There are two important reasons why we are here in Krakow today. First of all, this draw is a key milestone on the road that is taking us closer to the final tournament to be played in Poland and Ukraine in June next year. This is the third play-off draw in UEFA EURO history, but actually the first one to be held in one of the host countries. "The second reason for us being here in Krakow is of utmost importance for football as a whole and linked to our mission to protect the essential values of our sport and to eradicate a major threat: illegal betting and match-fixing. It's for this second reason that UEFA is joining the European sports ministers meeting [this afternoon to discuss these issues]." 8. Damn, Man. City beat my Aston Villa 4 - 1. <_<
  9. It was worth it. Ron was more productive overall, IMHO.
  10. Liverpool 1 - 1 Manchester U. (Chicharito for the draw! )

  13. A ton on what was said by Stern/Hunter on radio - KFAN (separately) Stern, Hunter Speak: Time for Resolution: http://www.hoopsworld.com/stern-hunter-speak-time-for-resolution/ A lot on BRI, system, supertax, Superbird, smaller rosters, other issues. Bottom line on it – in 30 minutes with Stern I feel I completely get owners’ position. But 45 minutes with Hunter and all I know is the players are going to fight, but I’m not sure why. Spoon-feed the public – that’s what Stern is doing, be it spin, half-truths or above board. Hunter didn’t get out the message in a way that even explains what’s wrong with parity and a semi-hard cap . . . especially if the players get to keep their Bird Rights and guaranteed contracts.
  14. Apparently the 76ers are dealing with a transfer fo ownership. Before when the Iggy/Kaman deal was in negotiations i heard something dealing with the potential change in ownership being a roadblock for the trade. I'm not which side wanted or didn't want the trade, or if they just wanted to keep the teams value consistent for the sale. Now that the 76ers are under new management do you think we can expect the Iggy/Kaman deal to happen? Or do you think they're going to try to keep Iguodala?
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTPBCWheCXo Finally DJ and EJ look like themselves, but Mo and Kaman look odd to me.
  16. Hmm.... Del Negro is about as great as it gets for a young superstar. He dumped the ball to Blake nonstop in games, drew up last second plays for him and let him play through all his mistakes. Del Negro is known around the league as a great developer of young talent.
  17. On second thought, Andre Drummond might be a must draft if he's still on the board. But still Harrison is probably the safest bet. He's the most stable SF. Meaning not all upside, not all skill with no potential. He's got good upside and is NBA ready. I think we need to hold onto the pick though. Iguodala may not be worth costing us a chance at someone like Barnes/Drummond. If we are patient enough we will end up with a dominant young core that can be elite for the next decade, assuming Sterling retains all the key pieces. Imagine.. Bledsoe Gordon Barnes Griffin DJ or Bledsoe Gordon Prince Griffin Drummond ?? Excellent core. Especially if DJ is willing to stay as our 6th man and back up Drummond.
  18. He's a second round pick... That's always a shot in the dark. But we won't know till he plays a professional game.
  19. Damn, it does look like Rubio's got his mascara on. Anyhow, if I were K-Love - I'd leave.
  20. Cool!! Gon' be rooting for the US. They can win this game. France is still a mess.
