Blake Griffin's latest double-double (22 pts and 18 boards in the Clippers' 13-pt win over Denver) is more than just his 22nd-straight 10-point, 10-rebound game (something no rookie has done since Elvin Hayes did it in the 1968-69 season). It's his 11th straight 20-point, 10-rebound game, and if you trust Elias, that's something no rookie has done since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it in the 1969-70 season. But don't trust them completely, because it was actually Lew Alcindor who did that, since he didn't become Kareem until after the Bucks won the 1971 NBA title. (And he didn't become Roger Murdoch, the co-pilot, until after he moved on to L.A. and stopped working hard on defense.)
