  1. Then what is he? Because he is not going to be an immediate contributor. All I've seen, read, and heard about him screams project.
  2. Lateral move. Hawes is a decent prospect and Nocioni adds depth at the wing, but I really dislike Nocioni's contract, and now we have no real center.
  3. Don't forget that Thibodeau is gone too.
  4. I really don't trust projects too much. Turner is safer, and I think he's got a better chance at succeeding in this league.
  5. I said give or take. But what's funny is you're defending Harris, and you discredit two of the players with this:
  6. Paul, Deron, Rose, Parker, and Arenas, give or take. Top five sounds about right.
  7. Proved what? That he's worthy of at least 7+ minutes off the bench?
  8. Wasn't he already working with an all-time great that was supposed to improve his offense?
  9. Ellis is a two, Evans is still a wild card, Brooks was Houston's only creator, and Billups' numbers are inflated. I think you're underrating Harris right now. This is a guy that was just last season averaging 21 PPG, and he would've averaged well over that if he didn't keep getting sidelined by injuries. One injury-riddled, nightmare season later and everyone forgets about him.
  10. Would you rather settle for the booby prize (albeit a good one) or take your chances in a lottery with the odds in your favor?
  11. The production was similar, but the difference is that Nash already had the tools to engineer a D'Antoni offense — he was doing something similar in Dallas. Calderon could ideally condition himself to be a more aggressive and instinctive playmaker that kind of system needs, but he's shown no indication, from what we've seen, that he is capable of running it.
  12. I don't think top 3 is a stretch at all.
  13. Smith is nearly a foot taller. If we're choosing between essentially the same players, give me the bigger one.
  14. Must be the source of his corniness.
  15. Eh, D'Antoni needs a confident, creative playmaker that will push the ball and take risks. I think Calderon, though solid and efficient, would be ill-suited for such an open, fast-paced offense. He's too conservative.
  16. Some of Davis' finishes made me do a double take. Remarkable game from him.
  17. Yeah, but in the States we don't have Canadians.
  18. Welcome to the present, where AI has fallen from grace and isn't on any NBA team.
