  1. It still boggles my mind how much burn this guy gets. And Mike, you were so excited you had to make two topics. Didn't know you liked Barea that much.
  2. The problem with calling it a wash is that Lou doesn't have much value himself either. I am indeed a fan of Jack (love his defense), but it's just not enough to convince me that a trade in where Thad gets swapped is worth it. And yes that's a valid statement. In fact, I very much prefer Jack to Lou. Agreed.
  3. Would there be anyone worthwhile at thirteen? Both players are expendable, but not for throwaways. Not Thad at least.
  4. A healthy Ginobili can score at a comparable rate to Crawford but without the high volume shooting and streakiness. But Ginobili is never healthy.
  5. With the schedule, going 1-4 is not out of the question, but if they break even it's a win IMO. The offensive line gave a pretty bad impression last season, but I trust that it will be much improved this year with the interior healthy and no more first-year starters.
  6. Didn't get to watch until late in the fourth. Can anyone summarize the game for me?
  7. Chill, I (somewhat irrationally) dislike everything about the Lakers, not just that.
  8. Thorough analysis, Blasco. I have to come up with another way to give feedback. I have a general question though: why didn't Bass play more? Perhaps I didn't pay enough attention to Orlando during the year, but I remember him being one of the most coveted bigs, and he hardly played in either the regular or postseason.
  9. The shaky jump shot is a valid point, but remember that Roy's jumper and his range was not that far off from Turner's when he was drafted. The turnovers are also a potential red flag, but high usage and playing out of position will result in turnovers in any level of basketball. The comparison is an evaluation of talent and the projection of peak... of course they're not going to be virtually identical players to begin with.
  10. I see Turner as a franchise guy. That kind of value overrides everything.
  11. Not bad. It's not nearly as heavy, but I love my .22 Ruger Target for its accuracy.
  12. 9. Would be 10 if Ben wasn't in a relationship.
  13. EA Sports peaked with both NBA Live and Madden in 2004. I never played Live '04 online, but I loved the dynasty mode because it was so easy to stack your teams.
  14. 1) Favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd album and song? 2) Thoughts on the Allman Brothers? 3) Why Steve Nash? 4) Why not the Bobcats? 5) Soccer or women's basketball? 6) Favorite gun to shoot? 7) LeBron or Kobe or LeBron? 8) Will Phoenix win these last two? 9) Do you have an accent? 10) List a few things we may not know about you.
  15. It's not so much his footwork/post moves than it is his touch and his mechanics.
  16. You're usually playing in cold weather to get there in the first place. True football is meant to be played in all conditions anyways. If you can't handle the weather then you need to grow a sack.
  17. I know Olajuwon was the master of moves in the pivot, but has Howard made any significant advances in his offense since working with Ewing?
  18. It's funny you bring up '06 Kobe, because '06 Kobe lost to Phoenix in the postseason even after leading by two games in the series.
