You also forgot that Rodgers is better at football.

Jets trade RB Washington to Seahawks
His Greatness replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in AFC Conference Discussion
Both. It's a dual role. -
Read the last line again. His entire post was explaining why it was irrelevant that Durant was the youngest scoring champ ever, because that would've been LeBron's title if Kobe didn't average 35 that season.

He said it was irrelevant because LeBron was still the better player.

Can Individual Scoring Eventually Trump Overall Play?
His Greatness replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
I think someone like Brandon Roy would've been a better, more distinguishable example for this topic. Both Anthony and Durant are chiefly scorers, and mostly any advantage either player has is arguable, and probably very narrow. To answer the question, it varies. All-around brilliance is preferred, but at the same time, efficient volume scorers like Durant are also absolute game-changers, so it's tough to evaluate. The importance is weighted, with scoring being the highest. For me, I believe players should be individually judged based on how impactful they are and how well they can carry their teams. And it's not that overall play is being neglected, scoring is just the most prominent aspect. So yes, individual scoring can trump overall play, but it also can't. -
Paul Pierce pushes Celtics past the Heat

Fair enough, but how do you justify his defense on that play? -
Paul Pierce pushes Celtics past the Heat
His Greatness replied to scolaisballin's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
What I don't understand is what Wright was thinking. He had a foul to give, and he's checking Paul Pierce—who only ever takes those shots from that spot—with sub-10 seconds left. Either take the foul or crowd him; there's zero reason to be playing the drive on that possession. Atrocious defense. -
True, but Roethlisberger also has issues — exactly Al Davis' kind of player.

Ray Allen Claims NBA Is 'A Lot Softer' Now
His Greatness replied to The Regime's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Allen is absolutely right, but Pierce isn't going to take those soft comments lightly. BTW, LeBron isn't soft, he has a sense of entitlement. Every superstar has it. Some more than others. -
lol, everyone on OTR is so liberal with that word. Right, because it's so absurd that anyone disagrees with you, we must be haters. Not realists with an opinion, but a hater. Definitely.

You would have a legitimate gripe if Sims was good in any of the schemes he played in. But he wasn't, so the point is moot.

lmao this is gold. Almost makes me want Chicago to win.

GM2: Chicago @ Cleveland
His Greatness replied to Real Deal's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Seriously lol, it's the [expletive]ing postseason. If there were even such a ridiculous thing as 'earning the right to be taunted', I would think that a playoff spot would suffice, but apparently not. -

Gibson dunked on LeBron. When will my TV get confiscated? -
He piled up tackles because Detroit blows. That raw statistic is among the most misleading in football. How is he a beast? He's not big, gets swallowed up easily, misses tackles, overplays, and he's not especially good at pass rushing, coverage, or anything. Sims is a very flawed player. Maybe he needed a change of scenery, but he's far from being a beast, stud, or a good football player.

I don't think he's utter garbage, but Owen's a lot closer than you are.

James Johnson is a bit overeager. -
Okay, he's old and not the same anymore, but let's not go that far.

Dirk was a glitch on the elbow wasn't he? 36 points on 14 shots is insane. I was wondering when the doubles were coming but they never came. I think Dallas is advancing, but I'm hoping we get a good series out of this. Can't see the Spurs being this sloppy and out of sync for another game. It'll go to seven.

Fisher Not Planning On Retirement
His Greatness replied to ChosenOne's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Interesting stat I saw the other day on HoopData: Fisher is shooting the worst percentage (39.5%) at the rim of any player that's played more than 40 games.
