Houston @ Philadelphia

4-0 against Houston in the last two years. It would rule so hard if we break this 11-game skid against them. -
Replace Kobe with Wade or LeBron
His Greatness replied to Cobb's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Down a peg or two, but LA would still be in a league of their own out West. Kobe isn't necessarily the best player, but he's the best player for that team. -
1/2. That defense is being buoyed by the talent as well, not the coaches. Leslie Frazier is overrated.

Sean Payton. Not only did he take a pay cut to bring in Gregg Williams, he's orchestrating a dominant offense in the same vein as the '07 Pats and the early decade Rams, he's adequately coped with injuries, made shrewd coaching decisions, and it's all resulted in a flawless record.

CHILL, let him get in shape and conditioned to the Sixers' (losing) ways before you criticize him. -

This game is already a blowout if Detroit could space the floor. -
Oh Smitty, you so crazy.

Iverson's freelancing style is supposed to be detrimental to most offenses, but it is my personal opinion that anything that deviates from Eddie Jordan's game plan is the right game plan. -

Brand's numbers at halftime: 5/7 13 points, five rebounds, three blocks, three assists. You're Eddie Jordan, what do you do? A) Sit him the rest of the way B) No touches (perimeter handoffs don't count) C) Play Willie Green D) Heavy minutes, and run your offense through him -

My god Iverson is finishing poorly. I hope his legs come back soon. -

http://www.basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=815 Try to wrap your head around that. -
A fumble is when you lose possession of the football. The ball can move around in his hand forever but if it's not out, it's not a fumble. That's why it's such a hard call. Did he fumble before or after his forearm was down? Simultaneously? My point is that if there isn't definitive, conclusive evidence, then you don't reverse the call on the field. And you can't honestly tell me that there was.

Vikings LB Henderson broke his leg
His Greatness replied to damien's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Horrible. His season is over, and his career might be as well. It's worse than Charles Gordon's injury last year. -
The thing is, at least Toronto has an excuse. Conversely, the Sixers actually have the personnel to play defense. They retained most of the players from last season (and the year before that) when they were ranked in the top 10 defensively. And that's very unlikely. Iverson can't fix a broken system. No player can.

There goes home field advantage.

Winny is out again. LAME.

The argument is whether he lost possession of the ball before or after his forearm is down. We're looking at a split-second difference here, not indisputable evidence, and it wasn't a very easy call considering how much time they spent looking at it in the booth. Announcers thought he was down.

Whether it's a forearm or a wrist, it's still down by contact. And the moment the ball was coming out is disputable, that's why it's a questionable reverse. BTW, I'm not pissed, and my favorite team is irrelevant. Don't bring that in here.
