Peyton, Brees, Brady, and Roethlisberger; the rest of the pecking order is blurry. That's not a "plenty".
-
Well, no, not really. They're very different players, although it's not really derisive to call anyone "Shaun Alexander 2.0". Alexander in his prime was a very good running back.
-
Aaron Rodgers is definitely special. How he's performing this season under such disadvantageous conditions in Green Bay has been nothing short of impressive. He'll be (rightfully) mentioned among elite company by the end of the season. With this game, Percy Harvin has lapped every competitor for his Rookie of the Year award. This game was all Favre, but Harvin is just outstanding.

Tremendous all-around game from Iguodala. Stuffed the stat sheet (19 points, 9 boards, 9 assists, 2 steals, 1 block) and was just stellar defensively. Put the locks on Redd. -
I like this one more for New Jersey. http://mercifulcrap.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/nyets.png

This game is more deserted than Slaven's birthday party. -
San Antonio is not going to win any games when their perimeter shooting is this dry. They can't. Credit Chicago's defensive effort (awesome job, btw), but that was ugly.
-
San Antonio can't defend energy.

Scratch that. They just scored, so it's more like one of those barely alive pit bulls that they rescued.

Washington's offense has been deader than Vick's pitbulls. I had to say it.

I think that he at least tries to be subtle with his dumbassery.

Diesel told me on AIM that he didn't even watch the game. Don't mind him, he's just upset that his team lost last week to the Oakland Raiders, who the Eagles lost to. The Raiders! Philly lost to them! We lost on a fluke play to the defending champs on their home turf. Tomlin readily admitted that his team was outplayed. I agree, and I'm sure many of the Steelers faithful will to. Very impressed despite the loss, and I still feel that we're the better team. Favre did throw 51 times but it's a bit inflated from the extended handoffs (i.e. screens, flats, etc.). They had to get the ball in space somehow because the running game wasn't producing. Pittsburgh played the run like every other defense has this season... there's only so much you can do with a stacked box and plugged lanes. Absolutely it did. Harvin's return negated Pittsburgh's, but if that penalty doesn't happen, Minnesota takes the lead right there.

Absolutely. When ECN isn't talking about VD, he's getting VD from his male life partners.

I heard that voting for Vernon Davis gives your computer a virus, so don't do it.

You are my least favorite Canadian right now. -
His team was trounced by 35 points. What did you expect?
-
Swapping Winslow with Owen Daniels, Dallas Clark, or Heath Miller would be my only revisions.
-
What a [expletive]ing fluke. That was horrible.

Those of you surprised are obviously not familiar with the brilliant machinations of Don Nelson. Shrewd moves like these are exactly why I expect Golden State to continue on the success of last season. -

Good find. I'll finish up reading all of it when I'm done not watching preseason. BTW, I agree with Erick. The only thing valuable about JO is his contract.
