  1. 49ers are good. The others not so much. If they beat Green Bay on Monday night, will that be enough proof for you?
  2. Yeah both were solid episodes. Season looks promising, but anyone else feel that The Office has been slowly declining in quality since season four?
  3. Grant. He always does good against Minnesota, and their run D is out of sync right now.
  4. Allen couldn't "do [expletive]" against Davis because he was rarely lined up against him. Staley drew the assignment. Most of Davis' contact with Allen were restricted to chips... and he blatantly held Allen the one time he was singled up on him. Except those 24 points the Niners scored, they scored zero points. Peterson didn't run wild, but he had a nice, productive game, and even put Willis on his back when he had him in the open field. What is it with you taking these potshots whenever you're wrong? Grow the [expletive] up. Favre is a 40-year-old quarterback downfield blocking on a big linebacker in peak physical condition, and he knocked the [expletive]er over. He's 40. And a quarterback. BTW, nice tackling, Willis. It's not offsides, it's called jumping the snap. All the best pass rushers do that. Tell Hill to start mixing up his cadence.
  5. 378 yards, one TD, four INTs, 41.3%, 39.8 rating. Next big thing.
  6. London Fletcher. One of the most underrated players ever.
  7. I think Romo has been catching so much flak lately that he's become underrated. People are forgetting that, despite his late-season unraveling, he is a good quarterback.
  8. Holy crap you're annoying. He didn't "rape" Jared Allen, he held (something the announcers even pointed out) him for five seconds on a stretch play. He did level Griffin, though... but not as bad as Favre doing the same to Patrick Willis lmao. I'm still not impressed by Davis. He had a good game, but the guy still has very suspect receiving skills. Stop fellating him Jeffrey.
  9. lmao, this isn't the first time they've done this. Matt Bellamy's quite the character.
  10. http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/webcam-girl-hed.jpg http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/webcam-girl09.jpg http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/webcam-girl02.jpg http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/webcam-girl10.jpg Discuss.
  11. Perfect throw from Manning. I think that's the fourth (or third) touchdown DRC has given up this season.
  12. There's nothing DRC could've done there. They're going to flood that zone every time if they leave him alone.
  13. Mykonos and Winter White Hymnal are my favorites. Both excellent songs.
  14. Dirk is a top ten player overall, as in real life. The ratings should show that. I didn't dispute his superb postseason or upside. I disputed him being the tenth best player in the NBA, which he's not. I'm telling you that some things are more vital than others, hence the weighted ratings suggestion. Rondo is more complete than Nowitzki, but we can all agree that Dirk is the superior player by quite a margin. ... okay.
  15. Kickers really love to bail the Bears, huh?
  16. They exaggerated Dirk's ineptitude on defense, he's not that bad. Besides, an overall rating is supposed to be an indication of a player's overall ability and where they rank among the other players. Dirk is a top ten player, and I expect it to be reflected on his rating. Holy [expletive] he averaged a triple double in the playoffs let's make him the second best player on his team (he's not) and rate him as the tenth best player in the NBA (not even close). That's why they need weighted ratings. The system is flawed. I will judge whatever I want by its cover. It's my money.
  17. Don't be that guy. You lost. Brett Favre oh my god. It feels so good to be on the winning side of those for once.
  18. 2K shafted Dirk again. And I think LeBron should at least be rated the same as Kobe. Also, wtf Rondo? Major rating edits are in order.
  19. It'll look even better when Iguodala does this again: http://sixers4guidos.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/a4c62575dde58bb4ca61c2ccc6ac5ea4-getty-82992848ng027_76ers_lakrs.jpg?w=462&h=307
  20. This argument is apples and oranges. Reed is the premier centerfielder in the NFL. No one comes close to his proficiency in that regard, but that's the only place he impacts the game. I realize that sounds extremely shortsighted because it's a very vital role, but you look at a guy like Polamalu, who not only covers the deep middle (not as good) with effectiveness, but dominates other areas as well... it just does more for me. He's officially classified as a strong safety, but he's truthfully a hybrid. He can do it all. BTW, picks aren't an indicator of a player's pass coverage abilities. Polamalu may have picked off more passes, but I think it's universally known that Reed is the best coverage safety.
